Not enough people mention the disruption the trains have on their stay. I stayed with a group and the Hotel is built over the trainlines. The screeching can be heard all night long. I got to sleep for about 4 hours. The Hotel itself is functional and location is good but there is no way I would stay again. more

Hotel IBIS is sleek, modern, clean and right next door to Amsterdam Central train station. I would only reccommend this hotel for a one night stay if you need convenient access to the train station. Otherwise, it is expensive and generic. more
