Me and my boyfriend stayed 2 nights on a street facing room on the top floor, The good points : The view was amazing! It is located in the very center of the old town, between the Red Quarter and Grachtengordel West. The night auditor is nice and friendly, the room was clean and the bedding comfortable. Compared to the... More

Great location central to every thing. The female staff nice were nice, men were not. breakfast very very basic, and finishes by 10am, to early in my opinion. oh you have to pay city tax around 17 euro. beds comfy, bedding clean, towels clean and changed daily. water pressure great even though we were on top floor. The hotel is in... More

Rooms are solid 1 star. Slightly smelly No WiFi in bedrooms The place seems popular with UK yobbos, but then so is the whole of Amsterdam. Chose a slightly more expensive hotel a little further from Centraal station and the red light district!!!! Try The Bridge Hotel.....waaaaay better.

Ideal location - walking distance from the train station, red light district, Jordaan, Dam Square and many sights in Amsterdam. The hotel itself is terrible. Rooms are small and smelly, breakfast is below average and there is so much noise around that it is pretty much impossible to sleep at night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling... Overpriced and overrated hotel, 3 stars ???, should be max. 2 stars. Rooms are poor, no proper ventilation in bathroom - smells. Breakfast was ok. Only positive thing is location - near central station.

This awful hotel turned what was meant to be a celebratory birthday weekend into an absolute nightmare. After 2 nights at the Delta hotel, my partner and I left completely covered in bed bug bites which soon turned septic. I saw one of the bugs crawling across my pillow so proceeded to capture it with a piece of tape to... More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to explore Amsterdam. After reading the reviews was very optimistic, but I had no problems. Rooms very basic but clean, perfect location and breakfast was brilliant. No problems with this hotel stall and for being on a budget the price was brilliant.

Stayed there with five friends for the weekend and can't complain. Pay for what you get, rooms aren't plush but you wouldn't expect them to be. Staff were friendly and the rooms clean. The location is great just a short walk from the station. It's also a short walk away from the red light district which means it's not to... More

Not the most glamorous of places, however still decent. Good prices we paid - you get what you pay for and it is in a fantastic location. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ok, room was clean and beds were comfortable. Great range of tv channels both English and Dutch etc. my only issue is it is quite hot... More

It is what it says on the tin, somewhere to lay your head. The location is perfect as its less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. Went there with 3 friends and we got 3 singles, out most of the time. The TVs are good, showers are clean and breakfast was good. I wouldn't go here if... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
