I have just come back from a three night stay at this hotel and I am completely baffled to all the bad reviews on here it appears people pay the lowest price for a hotel and trust me this is the cheapest in Amsterdam and yet expect the best of the best. My and my three friends stayed here in... More

Location wise, you will struggle to get much more central let alone at this price. That's where the fun ended for me unfortunately. A group of 9 of us stayed, taking 3 rooms and there was no consistency in room style or quality. One of the rooms quite oddly had a ceiling tiles only familiar from some of the offices... More

Weak recieption. Small and tight room. Bad room service. Good breakfast. Best location (near dam square and central train station and canal cruise station). Suitable for single persons and not recommend to couples... suitable for short stay period...

I went with two girl friends....we didnt pay alot for the room so we wasn't expecting much anyway! Especially as your not in the room much! When we was sleeping, my friend woke us up so we all listen to the noise underneath her bed and it was some time of mouse/rat chewing into empty chocolate bar packets that we... More

Firstly, I am baffled why the Delta has had so many bad reviews... never mind a bad review, myself or my 3 friends who I stayed with do not have a bad word to say about the hotel. We stayed in the first week of January in Room 110, the Room was spacious and clean, with a safe located in... More

We spent 7 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. The staff were fantastic (we encountered 5 of them during our stay, all of them friendly, helpful, with a good sense of humour). Our room was a bit whacky, but clean and secure. We could access BBC TV 1 and 2, a real boon over Christmas (!) as well... More

My son and his girlfriend have returned from a 3 day break at this hotel in Amsterdam. Words cannot explain how enraged I am at their experience here. Following their first night there they woke up in the morning to find that someone had broken into the room and stolen all their money (€900) whilst they had been out. Considering... More

This is a one star hotel just a few minutes walk from the station. The room was very dated but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was adequate and all staff members I came across were helpful and friendly. They take a security deposit of €30 for the TVs remote and room key.

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
