I keep reading about how old the hotel is... Yes, that's because like the rest of the entire city of Amsterdam it was built several hundred years ago... There are many, many high-end hotels in Amsterdam to choose from if that's what you want. The Delta is a great location, right on the main strip. The staff is helpful and... More

Old hotel in general. Old towels, old beds, old carpet. The shower was broken, the ceiling had broken parts. Sometimes they lock the door at the entrance and there's nobody to answer the bell cause the receptionist is also the room service, etc. Unfortunatly I dont recommend for families, only young people or if you need just to spend the night.

The reception staffs are quite friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is quite old. and moist! I'm 162cm and I found that the toilet's ceiling is very low! It would be challenging for taller person to get into the bath tub to shower! No wifi in room and only available in the lounge room. Overall, still acceptable.

Staying in this hotel this early summer is truly expensive. Almost 3X as same hotel in prominence location in Brussels, but cheapy service: deposit for tv remote, surcharge 5% for payment by credit card, limited hot water. Wifi only in lobby...

Foul stench, very moist old rooms, poor service. Very noisy due to poor isolation while situated at a busy street. Permanently wet spots in the carpet and general poor maintenance. Personnel was rude towards guests.

I stayed in the hotel three nights in May. On arrival, they informed that the card machine was broken and I have to pay the whole stay in cash in advance. Plus deposit for the tv remote control. Almost kicked me out cause didn't have enough cash (who carries that kind of cash with him/her?). Finally payed one night and... More

This hotel is ideally situated in Amsterdam. It suits groups which just need a bed for the night and nothing more. The hotel is in severe need of refurbishment. It definitely isn't 3 star. It is 1 star at best, some hostels are a better standard. The hotel also charges a 5% fee for paying with card. This isn't explained... More

Don´t expect to much, it´s a place to sleep....not more! Most things are in a bad condition, dirty carpets and breakfast is very basic. 20 EUR deposite for the remote control. Located right in the center, close to the main station.

This is the second time I've stayed here and the truth is I really like it. It's in a great location - just a few minutes level walk from the train station - so access is easy. All tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel itself represents good value for money I feel. It's a bit dated, but... More
