the receptionist was not helpful, she didn't know anything about the parking, the tramway to take, the restaurants. the housekepper was very nice and available. the hotel has a great location but rooms are so so (no A/C, a lot of noise when opening the window). good breakfast.

I had the most enjoyable hotel experience staying here for four nights. The hotel is conveniently located to tram lines, Museum Square, and Vodelpark. We were within walking distance from everything and never had to take public transportation. The staff were polite and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and that we enjoyed our... More

Basic facilities - but excellent service from friendly staff! Handy small walk from centre. Value for money type hotel -.......................... Would return if staying in Amsterdam again. However night life is not near it ...30min walk required!!

great location for the museum square and a tram from right outside goes straight to the centre. and a bus straight to and from the airport, we didn't have the breakfast so we walked to the supermarket a few minute away. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, room was very spacious clean.

Fantastic hotel well conected through public transport. Spacious clean room with all you need for a good night sleep. We ate and shop mostly in the city centre but I remember a few restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

I stayed here during a record heat wave in Amsterdam, and they moved me to a room that had more shade during the day. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed the organic breakfast.

Our go to hotel in this beautiful city-particularly for proximity to the three major art museums and the Concerctebow Orchestra. Breakfast is extra but extremely well done with many options, including fresh squeezed orange juice.

Reserved the hotel for myself and two friends. Had the "Family" room. It was 3 single beds. The room itself was VERY spacious and we were on the ground floor, so we had a cute little terrace outside of our door. However, we were there in June/July when it was extremely hot and our room had no air conditioning. The... More

Medium-sized hotel (only 40 rooms) right next to Museum Square, the Concertgebouw and the beautiful Vondelpark in Amsterdam city, a quiet and central location convenient for all possible trips around town. The area is quiet and safe, the only noise from our room were laughing children going to a school at the back of the hotel, no drunk people shouting... More

This is a lovely little hotel. Situated near vondel park is a great location and really easy to get to on a bus from the airport. As you expect the staff are brimming with helpfulness and support should you need it and there is a fantastic rear external area for a tranquil morning coffee. The rooms are immaculate and stylish... Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
