Don't bother to look anywhere else - this is the ONLY place to stay in Amsterdam. We stayed here for 6 nights in June (sorry it has taken so long to write this), and from the moment we arrived the service was excellent. The reception staff saw us being dropped off at the front door, and immediately came down the... More

Staying here is a real treat! The rooms are super clean and the bathrooms are great! It is centrally located next to the "fun" part of Amsterdam and everything like all the museums are in walking distance. The hotel has a beautiful view of the canal and the decor inside is cute. Great bar and strong wifi✔️

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Banks Mansion and there is not one negative thing that I can say about this hotel. Very centrally located. We were able to walk to all attractions. The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with many great choices. The coffee machines... More

Based on Trip Advisor recommendations we chose Banks Mansion for our six day stay in Amsterdam. Our canal view room was terrific, but small. The location could not be better, walking anywhere in the Center is very easy from Banks. he open bar in the Living Room was terriifc and available 24/7. The complimentary breakfast with eggs cooked to order... More

I just stayed four nights at this hotel and it was great. Perfect location, cozy environment (less than 40 rooms) and full of nice details, especially the free snacks and drinks in the lobby ALL DAY LONG. The room wasn't small at all and you have free drinks there too. Daily cleaning is good but not impeccable. Breakfast is really... More

Dear Willermo, Wow, ‘highly recommendable’, those are extremely generous words. Thank you so much for sharing these words with the rest of the Tripadvisor users. You are very close in guessing the amount of rooms: we have 51 rooms. We actually have four types of room: the Deluxe rooms, the Deluxe canal view rooms, the Executive rooms and the Suite.... More

In central Amsterdam and service is fantastic. Price may be a little high but treat yourself to a wonderful experience. All drinks included in price and daily snacks served in living room area off the lobby. request a canal view on an upper floor.

Hotel is a real one off. Firstly all the staff are really friendly make you feel really at home. One of the defining things about the hotel is all the drinks are complimentary. So you hear about it in the reviews and you think there's a catch. But no there isn't one. Although we are not big drinkers it's a... More

Dear PeterB_AnnaB, I am so happy to read that we achieved the ‘home away from home’ feeling with you and that our team made you really feel at home. Nice looking hotel overlooking a nice canal adjoining a pretty bridge covered in flowers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful directing guests to museums etc or restaurants. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was nice, bed comfy and the all inclusive drinks and snacks very welcome. I'd stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Banks Mansion. The rooms were nice, bed was comfy (they even had a pillow menu with 4 or 5 different options), and staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options including a cooking station where you could order omelets, eggs, or Dutch pancakes. The hotel has free drinks and snacks... More

Dear Ernalittle, Thank you very much for your review. I am happy to see that you have enjoyed one of the options from our pillow menu. Did you know that one of the options is the ‘snore no more’ pillow. Especially the wives are very fond of this pillow. Mostly the wives order this option for their husbands, of course... More

This hotel is in a great location. Please note...the staff DO NOT HELP WITH PORTAGE/LUGGAGE . The hotel sits on a very busy corner with no parking. The taxis pull up on the sidewalk to let you out, (as many of the places in Amsterdam the streets are very narrow in general) There is no disabled entrance so anyone in... More
