The comfort, style, and casual atmosphere of Banks Mansion, combined with an attentive and friendly staff, an excellent location within easy walking distance of the museums, shops, and a range of great restaurants, in addition to the extras -- free coffee, drinks, sodas, snacks and candies -- made this a first rate hotel. If you can afford it, get a... more

After two stays at the Bank Mansion over the past 4 months, this hotel clearly ranks among the better choices for a trip to Amsterdam. The location is very central and the hotel can easily be reached by public transport (tram stop outside the door). Rooms are quiet and spacious (do ask for a room facing the back of the... more

Hotel certainly met expectations, great location, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast..all you would need for a weekend break and more. The extras offered is a lovely addition to the normal, it is really nice to have had a full day out and return to the 'free' bar to enjoy a glass of wine or two and again upon returning from... more

It was supposed to be a very good place for business meeting and stay, but i didn't find it great enough. Banquoet hall was nothing great, service was mediocre and food was average. Overall not a very nice experience to talk about. more

Wonderful hotel. Great location, very clean, tons of amenities. Convenient to flower market, tram, restaurants, and within walking distance to most major attractions. Staff was always available and very friendly and helpful. Offered help with baggage, called for a taxi, had helpful information, etc. Very pleasant. Revolving door is a little tricky, but there's a wide, regular door right next... more

We arrived at Amsterdam Centraal station in the afternoon. We went outside and followed the signs to tram number 24. Across from the stop, is a little building where they sell tickets. We bought one strip of tickets. From there, we took the number 24 tram (I gave the conductor the strip of tickets and she stamped them to show... more

We booked this hotel from the internet rather than our travel agent. We were very happy with the room; small but deluxe, canal view, shower in bathroom. The service was excellent after the front desk staff warmed up to us a little(we stayed three nights). The rates are super for the quality of the rooms, breakfast and snacks are included... more

From the moment we walked through the front door until chieck out everything was exceptional. THe service is superb - including an e-mail request sent a week before the trip related to tub vs shower bathroom. The front desk assured us up front that the request was recived and honored! Beautiful room, large beautiful bathroom, all spotlessly clean and well... more

We decided on the Banks Mansion for our 5th wedding anniversary trip after a lot of research, we thought it offered the best value for a quality hotel and we weren't disappointed. We arrived at 09.30 on the 30th April, when we booked we didn't know about Queens Day, and as roads around hotel were all closed we were very... more

Myself and my husband recently spent 4 nights in Banks mansion (in the middle of April) and had a wonderful time. I would say that I am quite 'picky' when it comes to accomodation but Banks Mansion did not disappoint ! Having read a number of reviews on trip advisor, I was prepared for the small sized room, but in... more
