We sailed on the DFDS King of Scandinavia from Newcastle to Amsterdam. The ship was amazing. we stayed here and thought it was 1 of the best hotels we have ever stayed in we had a executive roon on 2 floors with a great view the breakfast was great everything was available and yummy ,the bars are nice and not that expensive too more

Stayed for 2 nights here, older rooms only have an air cooling system and not air conditioning so be careful to request a room with air conditioning as the heat was unbearable the first night however when I said it to the receptionist she organised a fan and it was much better the second night. No real complaints about the hotel. Breakfast is great and there is a nice bar and a restaurant. Food is above average. Hotel is but a block or so from the train station. This location is perfect if you are leaving or joining a Rhine river cruise.
