We've just been on a 3 night stay at this hotel. All in all a very good hotel but heed what it says in the reviews below - if you're looking for somewhere that is in the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam Central this isn't the hotel for you. It is a 10 minute drive from the town. There's a... more

hotel prices seems to be incredibly high in amsterdam and after looking at reviews and prices of several places, we managed to book this hotel for just over £90 per night for 3 nights without breakfast. Rooms were really clean. staff were very polite and helpful. the only downside is that its not in the city but the bus ride... more

10 minutes away from the city centre and a bus stop right outside (No.48) makes the location very suitable, in fact at times you want to get out of the city as it is so busy. My only gripe of the hotel would be the beds are the old style flip ones which go into the wall so when they... more

Less than 24 hours before we were due to check in my wife discovered that I had not booked the Golden Tulip Hotel as I had intended but this one which every review accurately portrayed as stuck nowhere a tourist wanted to be. I tried unsuccessfully to get it changed. I wasn't going to eat 100 euros to cancel the... more

I accidental booked this hotel instead of its sister hotel in the center of town. However, the price was much cheaper and the hotel seems to be very new with a high standard of rooms with no hidden costs, i.e. free wi-fi, tea coffee facilities in room. Also, this was one of the only hotel that i could find that... more

Nice rooms - clean, comfortable. The bathroom was really nice! Good food at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Nice bar as well for the evening. Was convenient to ride the bus into town in the evenings. Staff was very helpful with cabs and restaurant reservations. Conference center was also very nice. more

The hotel looks lovely, modern, new. Personnel could be a bit more attentive. I got a door key, which did not work, had to go all the way back to the reception, got a new key, which did not work again. The breakfast looks nice enough, but the warm dishes were all not warm, but just off-cold. Dirty dishes were... more

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst attending a conference. Hotel was on the conference recommended list and was booked on trust. I was worried that it might be too far out of the city centre to be useful, but found myself enjoying the 20 minute walk to and from the city each day, experiencing picturesque and less touristy parts of... more

For all the trendy artwork and the chic decoration, this place can't hide the fact that it's boring. It's clean, freshly decorated and convenient for a number of businesses but it's too far from the heart of Amsterdam. Taxis take ages to arrive and cost €15-20 to get in. I really hated the electronically locked front doors that mean you... more

we stayed in the new wing of the hotel and the room was superb. the only disappointing thing was the one and only evening meal we had, so we went into town to eat from then on. the hotel is out of town as previous reviews have stated, but the bus stops outside the hotel and the journey is not... more
