Not sure about the value for the dollar if you pay full price, but this hotel apparently frequently shows up at discounted rates, which is how I ended up here. Overlooking a canal, if you're lucky (our room looked out at the car park), the rooms are big by European standards and the bathroom downright luxurious. The location is a... More

The Okura staff is top notch; the rooms more simple and elegant and beds much more comfortable, than the pictures reveal. Auto closet lights, a substantial sized safe, massive windows with darkening curtains. You may take a shower, while drinking the excellent Nupresso coffee, (machine in the room), and look out over the beautiful Amsterdam skyline, all in the same... More

We heve just spent the week-end at this hotel and we had a great time! Is not much else that I can add. Our room was spotless and with fantastic views over the city. It is worth going to the bar at the 23rd floor to enjoy even better ones! The Concierge was very helpful getting us tickets for the... More

This is a wonderful hotel located in a quiet area but close to everything. I read in a couple reviews the hotel was not centrally located. While it's true this hotel is not in the middle of the tourist crush, it is in a great location; a brief walk to the market, wonderful restaurants to walk to and a tram... More

We had three days there, the hotel is beautiful, spacious room with lovely bathroom. One of the elevator was not smooth and the car park system as well. We got the trouble when access denied. What I love more this hotel are two restaurants Ciel Bleu and Teppanyaki.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and wanted to use the sauna or pool. I was told that to use the sauna or pool would cost me €15. This I found was too expensive as I only wanted to use these facilities for one hour. The facilities should be available to guests free of charge or on a... More

Ok, so booked this online and got a pretty good deal. Place is really nice but there were a few issues during our stay. We were late arriving due to flight delays and got there around 2pm. Room not ready yet. Offered free drinks on the patio while we waiting......and waited......and waited......for 2 friggin hours! Really? Is it that tough... More

The Okura Hotel was surprising good value for money given that this is a 5 star hotel. The quality of the room, the service from the staff and the ambiance was everything you could expect from an Okura hotel. In addition, the view over the city and relevant closeness to the sights was miuch better than i expected. The only... More

We booked a twin-bed room for 3 nights in this hotel through Expedia. When we arrived they had put us in a double room, but without any fuss upgraded us to a deluxe twin room. The service and room facilities were world class. On the first evening we went to their bar on the top floor where we paid £60... More

Stayed here with my wife last weekend (went to Ziggo Dome to see Fleetwood Mac-they also stayed at the hotel, so did Toto) Hotel is great we had a room on the 19th floor, excellent views of Amsterdam, this room included breakfast and access to the spa and executive lounge (we didn't use) Top floor bar is worth a visit....
