This is perhaps not an obvious choice for the non-Japanese traveller - there are plenty of good Amsterdam hotels more centrally located - but the Okura has become our favourite place to stay in the city. Elegant decor, first-rate friendly service, large rooms (this time ours, on the 7th floor, was facing the gracht behind the building and offering a... More

We spent the weekend at hotel okura and the hotel itself doesn't feel like a city hotel with a beautiful exterior and reception is also very nice. We stayed in an executive junior suite the room was generous in size with a separate dressing room. The decor was a bit old fashioned and the rooms and more importantly the bathrooms... More

Very beautiful hotel, with amazing customer service. Rooms are big, nice and very clean with breathtaking view. Everything is perfect! Bar on the top floor is strongly recommended. Breakfast was amazing.

Found this hotel on a special deal. Not the cheapest in Amsterdam, but, well worth staying at if you like comfort and exceptional service. Easy to find, plenty of parking, restaurants great and not far from centre of city.

Beautiful Hotel. 1st class service from everyone. World class restaurants. Beautiful rooms with views. But when a 5***** hotel charging 5***** prices charges 12 Euros per day for a decent internet (Their standard free internet was as fast as a 20 year old dialup), and the pool "amenity" costs 15 Euros per day (I pay $40 per month to use... I booked this hotel as a special surprise for our 25th wedding anniversary and was delighted with the top quality service. As the hotel were aware it was a special occasion we were upgraded from a deluxe room to an executive room. Waiting in the room were some strawberries and a bottle of sake. It is these added touches that... More

Beautiful hotel, located close to Amsterdams major tourist attractions. Beautifully appointed room and very friendly staff. Plus a special mention to the concierge team for ensuring we had a great time and all ran smoothly.

The Hotel Okura is a very pleasant 5 star hotel, but it could be any pleasant 5 star hotel anywhere in the world. Nothing about the hotel really exploits its position as one of few centrally situated 5 star hotels in a city which is fit to burst with stunning architecture and contemporary design. The lobby is impressive from a... More

We stayed here because of Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed at all. Room is beautiful, modern, in excellent condition. Bathroom is really perfect. Here is what I love: modern panel on nightable controls everything in the room: lights , temperature, curtains. Easy to do from bedside. Decor is fresh and elegant and immaculately kept. high floor, so views... More
