My wife and I visited the Hotel Okura for 3 nights in March. The hotel itself is in a great location as it is only a two minute walk from a tram stop, and you can be in the centre of Amsterdam in 15 minutes. Upon checking in we were struck by the friendliness of the staff, the modern yet... More

Staying for a long weekend. The facilities are excellent including a European sauna. Great concierge, really helpful. The trams are your best friends in and around town. Rooms clean and modern, lovely to have been upgraded. Breakfast very good too

Beautiful place, especially if you can get a last minute.com deal and get it 60% off like we did. Great value for money! The sky bar serves a great Bloody Mary and Cucumber Martini. Can highly recommend.

The hotel is almost perfect. It only needs to work on some details like the shower, the breakfast (roomservice) and more options for a la carte breakfast at the restaurants. The breakfast is more at an average level. The level is higher when you are going to lunch or have a diner t one of the 4 restaurants. Maybe some... More

Coming back the second time did not disappont. The staff were friendly and exceptionally professional. Our room was upgraded and the views from the 16th floor were great. For those worried about the location, tram tickets can be purchased from the lobby and tram 12 followed by the 5 will take you downtown in apx 10 -15 min. There are... More

I stayed at the Hotel Okura for a combination business/vacation trip. It was my first visit to Amsterdam. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in a neighborhood outside most of the tourist activities, so it's a long walk or tram ride for most activities. Some great restaurants near the hotel.... More

Spent one night at this property and while it is a solid four star hotel, it is definitely not worthy of five stars or being an LHW Member. The public areas are just ok and seem a bit tired, as do the guest rooms. The rooms are dated and small, including what the hotel considers a junior suite. Be careful... More

Within this hotel, everything worked well; check-in, check-out, service generally, lifts - all fine. There were niggly things - not everyone likes Nespresso, aircon wasn't terribly effective and so on, but the restaurants are top class and I'd definitely stay there again. I just wish it was a bit nearer things. City Centre, train station, attractions, even some decent shops... More
