Hotel Okura in Amsterdam is one of those bright shining stars in the nebulous Milky Way of hotels one can generally find in a capital city. Whether you want to make an outstanding impression on your business partners, or are simply in for having yourself pampered in the most exquisite way, this is the place to go to. Five restaurants... Okura Hotel is conveniently located near the RAI convention center. The Hotel facilities (restaurant, sky bar, gym, swimming pool ) are outstanding. Rooms are large and nicely decorated. A special mention should be given to the Hotel personnel, very open and dedicated to superior service and high style. The overall atmosphere is extremely calm and raffinated. Ths Hotel quality is... It always nice to have a world class hotel suited for East Asians in a Western Country. The food is exquisite. Worth a stay just to savor the food. Tried all the restaurants. For the price, excellent value. Club lounge, one of the best I have experienced. Won't elaborate. Please try for yourself. This hotel is a paradox. It does... More

This hotel was perfect all around. Room was comfortable, staff was great, restaurants were excellent. It's not a budget hotel, so you know you will pay a bit more but it was well worthwhile. It is very easy walk to RAI Center if you are there for a convention, or a bit farther to museum area. It is NOT in... More

It's definitely not centrally located, but don't let that deter you. This hotel is easily accessible from the airport using public transportation (take the train from Schipol to Amsterdam-Zuid, and then the 65 bus to Scheldestraat and walk 2.5 blocks). To get to the city center, it's a nice 20 min walk, or you can take the tram that's 1.5... More

Much better than I had hoped. Hotel is in a great location in the Old South of the City. Easy walk to loads of restaurants, shops, services and on a beautiful canal in an upscale residential neighborhood. More convenient to everything than it appears on a map. Front desk service is good though it is a large hotel and lines... More

This was a very beautiful hotel. Even the most simple rooms are still beautiful with a great view. The employees are very correct and very helpful. Loved the Nespresso on the room and the service when you go to sleep (towel on the floor near the bed with slippers. There is even a pillow menu. You can pick a pillow... More

By booking and paying in advance we got a "reasonable" rate on a deluxe room of this very fine hotel. (Book direct with them and save 10% http://www.okura.nl/en/) We flew in on an over-night flight and arrived at nine AM with no sleep and a bit wrecked. The hotel was bustling full with a medical conference. The staff got a... More

Very comfortable beds. Spacious suites. Great service standards. I ran a meeting for 30pax there and everything was done very well and to my satisfaction. Only downside was I went to the gym at 0630 on sat to find it closed. Please open the gym earlier on weekends.
