Very good location and service. The room was great with a very nice view. All is good (Marriott standard). Only thing I didn't like very much: It was the only hotel in Netherlands where I had to pay (6€!!!) for a small glass of milk I ordered in the night to feed my 3 year-old daughter...

From check in I have received nothing but the most amazing customer service here at the Marriott Amsterdam. Checking in after coughing a few times someone from the front desk offers me a glass of water. While working out and heading back to my room to shower, the cleaning crew were in my room and instantly came out to say... More

Great hotel, great location and very comfy rooms. We stayed here last weekend of January, 4 ladies, to celebrate birthdays. Some great bars, shops & restaurants located nearby and a 20 minute walk if you don't want to catch the tram into the red light district area. A cab will set you back €20-€25, the tram just €3.

We stayed here in Aug as a group of 3 girls. We took the train then the tram from the airport and it was very easy to find. The hotel itself was very clean and spectacular. We had 3 double beds in our room which was perfect. The room itself was very big which was a plus. The hotel was... More

Perfect location by the museums and shopping districts. Easy walk to museums, Anne Frank house, shopping district, and nightlife. The rooms are standard Marriott. Nice, well maintained, dependable, not especially luxurious, but since we were in Amsterdam to sight see we didn't spend much time in there.

This is the first Marriott built outside the U.S. (in the 1950's), and they did a fantastical job with the location. Five minutes walk from the Rijks Museum, two minutes from the Leidseplein, and heaps of trams and buses stopping within a minute walk of the hotel. My wife and I had a corner executive room, which are noticably larger... More

As a family of four (myself and three teenagers) the room was spacious and comfortable. I had a late check in due to travel issues and was met with the best reception staff by far! They made everything easy and were easy to speak to any time to ask where to eat, directions etc. What can I say about the... More

First and only night in Amsterdam before leaving for a river cruise. Good location for exploring the city with lots of canals and restaurants to choose from for a bite to eat. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was quite good and the beds were comfortable. Typical Marriott experience - you know what to expect with this 4 star hotel.
