We were greeted warmly by the reception staff and our room was made available sooner than was expected. We were allocated a room on the 7th floor facing the city- great view. Our room was large and airy. Everything we needed was available ( robes and slippers needed to be requested). The beds were very comfortable and the room (... More

I felt disappointed with Amsterdam Marriot hotel. The building is right in the city center, close to museums and the canals and the staff is helpful and kind. but that is all. The first big handicap if you travel by car {as we did} is the valet parking, which is slow, expensive, and when the valet sees a 320 horsepower... More

stayed for 6 nights with my family. Excellent location in leidspleinin, 5 minute walk to tram station and 197 airport bus service. Very close to the museums and vondel park the staff were stretched and very busy and business like .Everything seemed like a chore and no smiles !! Breakfast was in executive lounge, very basic, was mostly crowded with... More

I was not impressed by the Marriott Amsterdam. The good stuff: Location was great The staff were nice (the two times we interacted with them - check in and check out). The not-so-good: Did not have a kingsize available, even though we requested one The mattress was awful It felt like we were in a basement even though we were... More

Very good location although I prefer a location near the center ring and a bit closer to Dam square but less than half an hours walk is good enough. The room was big and clean and the service was very good. The breakfast at the executive lounge could improve but was fine. I parked on the street behind the hotel... More

The Marriott Amsterdam was a super hotel. The majority of the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful from check in to check out. The room was amazing (view, size, cleanliness etc) except that my dad found it hard to sleep in one of the beds a few of the nights but had the best sleep in years another night. We... More

This is not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination nevertheless it is nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I must admit they got me with the phone and internet fees but removed the fees once I made a big stink about it. The view from this hotel is amazing and made it worth while. I... More

Of course this is a Marriott, and that entails a level of comfort and service that is to be expected from this brand. I'll talk about the pluses and minuses. Here are the few positives we experienced: - on arrival we were upgraded to the only room that has a balcony, room 1025; the view was magnificient and the balcony... More

I travelled with my wife and two teenage children to Amsterdam and stayed in this hotel for four nights. We were not disappointed and from the moment of arrival the concierge and reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and had a wealth of information to give to us. The following points in relation to the hotel really contributed to us... More

Definitely not a 5 stars hotel, i would give it 3. Unfriendly staff, and less than average lobby and service. Rooms are extremely small, are however clean. You have to pay extra for breakfast and the parking is at 55 euros/24 hours. it's cheaper to park using a park meter
