We Booked this hotel using my husbands priority points for a weekend break, as he is platinum, we were upgraded to the Executive club lounge, which is rare when redeeming points,. The rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard, the club lounge had plenty of complimentary refreshments and a fab terrace overlooking the city. Reception and the concierge... more

Beautiful hotel across the street from Amsterdam Centraal Station and within walking distance to all of the best sites. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and bright. The bed was super comfortable and luxurious. The bathroom was very nice as well. We ate in one of the restaurants- the more casual one and it was excellent as well. more

Walking distance from train station, but locate on map before leaving the station. Close to all tourist activities, including canal boat tour start points. Rooms are small, the usual decor, but new and clean. Excellent service. Free Internet access using hotel computers or ask for ethernet cord for your own laptop. 20 Euro wifi, which is dumb since they give... more

If you are lucky, you may have noticed a small remark on the website saying that renovations are being undertaken. If you think that builders drilling at 7:30am until about 7:00pm is OK and its alright to have builders walking past your room leaving trails of dust and debris, then this hotel is fine for you. If you are unfortunate... more

Me and my boyfriend recently stayed at this hotel for a couple of days and enjoyed our stay. We arrived on a friday and stayed until sunday. There were workmen in hammering away when we arrived but when we got up to our room on the 5th floor we did not hear anything else for the next two days. Our... more

2 block walk from Central Station, 4 blocks from RLD, Seconds from streetcars to take you anywhere in the city. Concierge very friendly and helpful. Desk staff not rude but not overly friendly either. Breakfast was overly pricey at 30 euro-went across the street for numerous options at 10euro. McDonald's 2 doors away. more

Can't ask for a better location as within 200 metres of main railway station. Refurbished business rooms are faultless and staff are very helpful and friendly and all speak English. Refurbishment causes some noise after 08:00 in a morning on week days. If you want a sleep in after 08:00 other than at weekends, then check your room location relative... more

Last April, we went to Amsterdam for a weekend trip. It was myself and my husband. We were looking at budget hotels and came across some really good deals with the Crowne Plaza. It was an amazing hotel when it came to cleanliness and service. They were very prompt and the location is just excellent. I will recommend this hotel... more

Stayed here April 16-20 - WARNING: The hotel is being refurbished until September 2009. The pool and workout room are currently closed, it is very loud during weekdays when they are working on it (was unable to sleep). Also the air conditioning was not working and you can't open the windows!. Would not recommend staying here until they are done... more

We booked a 3 night stay at the Crown Plaza on our priority points for an Easter break. First impressions of the hotel were not great, other than the location, which is close to most of the attractions such as Dam Square, Madam Tussads, Canal boats. The hotel is in the middle of renovations and the Healthclub and bar was... more
