Stayed for a flying visit a couple of weeks ago. The hotel was fabulous, check out the photos, we had a gorgeous room overlooking the canal. This hotel is, indeed, within walking distance of most of the downtown Amsterdam sights. Located on a quiet canal, it is a real treasure. The staff is very accommodating -- they didn't blink an eye at our 8am check-in.
