My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Estherea for three nights and really loved the place. First of all, when we arrived quite a few hours before check-in time, they did their best to get the room ready for us. And when it was ready, we were brought to the room where our bags were already waiting for us.... More

Hotel Estherea was a delight! We so enjoyed it, that my children groaned about leaving. First, it has a lovely and welcoming public area with warm lighting, wood panels, and leather sofas. It also has a small bar and a library-- to top it off, there is 24 hour a day hot chocolate and coffee available, and the hotel puts... More

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Estherea. We were delighted with the hotel. The location is very attractive being on one of the cannalls (Single) and is central so many of the sights are within walking distance. The decor is fab if not a bit over the top with dark reds velvet, tassels and chandeliers... More

We have just returned from a 3 night city break with our 2 children and were delighted with our hotel choice. We used the fast & efficient train service between the airport and central station. The hotel is a 15/20 minute stroll, if it's not raining, and its central location means that pretty much everything is within walking distance -... More

Stayed at the hotel in February, and it is very nice, staff is very professional. However, I thought the hotel was noisy. The hotel is especially noisy in the early morning as guests check out, with wheeled suitcases, doors banging shut. The hotel is charming and quaint but for the price I think you can do a little better.

Not the easiest place to find but once you know where to go it is excellently located close to Dam Square. It's a really different kind of hotel and from the moment you walk in you feel it's special. The decor and furnishings are opulent and the rooms have a feeling of elegance. I loved the bold red floral wall... More

Stayed for 3 nights, had read a lot of the other reviews and wandered if it would be as good as they said and it was. Hotel is very central and staff very helpful, would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam.

We are just back from 4 nights at the Hotel Estherea. It is an outstanding hotel. It is beautifully decorated and extremely well run. The hotel staff is very helpful. Some of them might be a little formal, but all tried their best to help us in any way they could, from getting dining reservations to having a room for... More

I am just back from the Hotel Estherea having spent 4 nights there with my 3 sisters. We booked a quadruple room (yes we are a close family!) which was quite spacious compared to the cramped offering of Paris the previous year. The hotel is located on the Singel canal which is a quiet part of the city but also... More

hotel estherea was superb, tastefully furnished, our double room with a canal view was very spacious light and airy, staff friendly and helpful, central for most tourist attractions.Close by there is a delightful street of antique shops which incidentally do not open until 11am, enjoyed our visit, highly recommend.
