I recently stayed at the Toren and the hospitality began well before I ever arrived in Amsterdam. I was contacted soon after I made my reservation to ensure that I realized that the room I booked (small single) was very small and offering to store any extra luggage or other items that may not fit in the room. While the... More

On a recent trip to four different cities my daughter and I were lucky enough to stay at the Toren. There is nothing that I could fault....the room was beautiful overlooking the canal, the staff were helpful, kind and polite, the breakfast offered everything you could want. I would recommend anybody to stay here. Thank you to all the staff... More

I have stayed in beautiful hotels all over the world, but I can honestly say I do not recall EVER having experienced the level of service the Toren offers anywhere else. My son (age 10) and I checked in for a very brief stay. While perhaps not feared for children/families, the staff could not have been kinder ( I thank... More

First class hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, friendly staff, and a scrumptious breakfast. I'll stay here again for sure. Renting a bike from the hotel and cruising through the neighborhood on one of the last sunny days in September was just fantastic.

Fantastic location. Room was decorated a bit out there but was mostly comfortable. Curtains did not close all the way so morning sun was a bit annoying. Front desk was friendly enough but not terribly competent. Asked them to make a dinner reservation for us but was embarrassed when we arrived at the restaurant to find none. Restaurant was packed... We loved the Toren. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Anneka (not sure of the name) at the front desk recommended restaurants to us that were all the best! The Toren is around the corner from the Anne Frank house, and you can walk EVERYWHERE from it. Our room was in the annex..and that was fine; the rooms were... More

I had good vibes from reading all of the review of The Toren, and I was absolutely right. The hotel is perfectly situated on one of the major canals, just around the corner from the Anne Frank House and one of the canal cruise company ticket offices. Although it is easy walking distance to all major sites, the area has... More

Booked here for a weekend away for my partners birthday. This place was highly recommended on trip advisor so spent the little extra and booked three nights here. What a good choice!! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating from the first minute to the last. They made us feel very welcome. They immediately tried to assist us in finding... More

Can't say enough about this place. Every member of the team here at the Toren cares about customer service. The room, the bar, the front desk are all absolutely stunning. We will return. Order the Sebastian!!! The best drink we've ever had.

We stayed here 3 nights, it appears pricey but when you arrive you see why. This is a canal house in all its splendour. It is beautifully situated and close to the centre of things but just far enough away from the busy red light district to give you the peace and quiet you wish to escape to, surrounded by... More
