I felt welcome to The Toren before I even arrived. From the moment I sent an email with a question, to the day I stepped foot in the door, to my return home and an answer to a followup email. The service never stops. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The attention to detail is incredible. The reception team was... More

We had a very nice stay at the Toren. The hotel has a great location, with many attractions, restaurants, shops and cafes within walking distance or a short tram ride away. The service was outstanding. Exceedingly friendly and accommodating. The staff visibly goes out of its way to make your stay pleasant. The premises are charming. Think of a large... More

This hotel is by far one of the best I have stayed in, from it's location to the friendly welcoming of the reception team, who really couldn't do enough to ensure a pleasant stay. In fact all the staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade which included a large Jacuzzi... More

Just returned from three nights stay at the Toren and am happy to say this hotel is brilliant. It has something of a decadent charm but that does not really do full justice to the style and comfort of this place. The staff were excellent. Charming helpful and always available. Loved our room 108 and loved the bar area. The location... More

This is an outstanding hotel with amazing attention to detail. The staff were so keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay - we are not fans of sterilised milk so when we asked for fresh pasteurised, one of the staff was immediately sent out to buy some. The decor was luxurious and in keeping with the style of the... More

Beautiful location in an old house on a quiet canal fronted street which backs onto the Jordaan. Near to attractions and lots of small bars, places to eat and shops. Staff really lovely. Helpful, friendly and attentive with good advice if you need it. The hotel itself is beautiful, décor is very boutique and maintains original features blending well with... More

I booked this hotel based on the overall reviews and being the Nr 1 Hotel in Amsterdam on trip advisor. Well, it rightly deserves the Nr 1 spot as well as the excellent reviews. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable with everything you need. The Nespresso Coffee machine is a true gem with a box of unlimited different coffees and... More

I have stayed in numerous hotels all over the world. I can comfortably say that all the staff here seem happy to help and are the friendliest I have come across. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to all the main attractions. From the moment we entered, everyone was so friendly and struck the perfect balance... More

Clean beautiful rooms, very convenient to all, friendly staff, great breakfast. What more can one ask for? Highly recommended. I brought clients here on the way to Africa with Muench Workshops and we're had a great time. Nice lobby, tasty food, and knowledgeable staff, very helpful in getting us around Amsterdam.

What can I say, professional staff, lovely rooms, made the stay in Amsterdam just amazing. If you like cocktails too they make amazing mojito's. The red wine list is fabulous. Love love love this place. I will be back next time I go. Just like home from home.
