We had a terrific visit at this beautiful boutique hotel. Our spacious room was exquisitely decorated with high end finishes and modern conveniences. The staff is top notch and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

You probably heard it before. This is a well-known, beautiful property on the canal.. Just 39 rooms spread over the old building and an annexe. The rooms are small but well decorated , clean and comfortable. All rooms have either a garden or canal view. Staff are great. Warm, friendly and a trove of useful info on the city. Woud... More

Excellent hotel in Amsterdam with a classic decoration (chandeliers and ceiling paintings) and an a impeccable staff. The room and the bathroom (w/ bath) were small, but very clean and pompous as well. Coffee and tea making facilities, such as robe and slippers, were also provided in room. Perfect location, very close to the Anne Frank house, restaurants, coffee shops,... More

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here. We had a room with a canal view and jacuzzi, a terrific shower, and comfy bed. The hotel is on a main street, within very easy walking distance of all the main tourist sites and some lovely little side streets, great restaurants and good transport links. Breakfast was delicious and there was... More

A small, boutique hotel right on the canal in Amsterdam. Located just around the corner from the Anne Frank Museum and a 15 minute walk to Central Station - walking distance to museum district as well. Great room, lovely staff, nice breakfast, little bar for drinks in the evening. It was just perfect! I stayed in the VERY SMALL single... More

On top of what in all 5 stars review, we got a gratious 500 € reimbursement from a previous no show, despite clear hotel policies to the contrary. Will be back, hopefully to our silent, glamour, confortable, jacuzzed room.

We chose The Toren because of the high recommendations in Tripadvisor's reviews and the hotel's great location by the canal and near city center. From the first step into your hotel we become more certain that our decision has been right. Never got more polite and considering welcome in a hotel in Europe. We have booked a small double room... We returned last night from a two day trip to Amsterdam and stayed at The Toren. The hotel is beautiful, the staff so helpful and understandably proud of their hotel. Its very close to the city centre, just around the corner from Anne Franks house so perfectly located. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here and would return without a shadow... More

The people at the Toren seem to be very nervous about the "room for one person" as indeed it is quite small. There are actually two of them, one in the main building and one in the annex. I would suggest the one in the main building even tho the annex one is slightly bigger. The annex is about ten... More
