Stayed here for a change from the usual chain hotels whilst on a business trip. Beautiful building in a lovely part of Amsterdam with great views inside and out. The decor is luxurious and the rooms are of a very high standard. There is a delightful bar area and the service was friendly and welcoming. Recommended.

Unlike other old hotels we have stayed in with small entrances and steps to navigate, there was a person to help us into the hotel and take care of our luggage. The Toren's bathroom has been updated and the room was air conditioned (we were there during a heat wave). The reception personnel were very helpful and even gave us... More

Perfect for a central stay in Amsterdam; away from the crowds and near some very lovely restaurants and bars. Staff are highly trained and VERY attentive. Sumptuous decor not for the feint-hearted, but we loved it. What ever else try their gin and tonics - I recommend the one using local Bobbie's Gin with elderflower, lemon grass and fresh raspberries... More

Stayed from August 19 to 22 in the small single room. The room is about 120 sq. ft. on a stairwell and the owners made it very clear on booking it is very small with no view. However, the location is excellent and price is right so I went ahead. And I was not a bit disappointed. The hotel was... More

We stayed for 2 nights. A very convenient location. The staff, without exception could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Our room decor was stylish - complete with Jacuzzi bath in the middle! Attractive Breakfast room/ Bar and even a little garden area in the back. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful!! The bathtub in our room was the coolest bathtub I've ever seen!! We checked in and Julius was so helpful in suggesting... More

The hotel interior is designed aesthetically. Although the floor is light, seems to be wood so it's squeaky when you walk. The room I stayed is a single room. Bed is quite big for the size of the room but still okay. But I do like the toilet, it is very modern, clean and neat. I also like the espresso... More

What a fantastic find. Amsterdam was the first stop on our 6 week European honeymoon. When I was searching for accommodation I was looking for good location and somewhere that was unique. The Toren ticketed both of these boxes. We arrived mid morning so needed to store our bags for a few hours before check in. The girls on the... More
