I spent a night for business in NH Carlotn, the hotel in a wonderful location for sight seeing, in the city centre, next to the flower market, a few minutes walk from the central train station and about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport. The room was quite dated, extremely big, but with many problems: first the light bulb... More

Stayed here as part of a dreaded tour group--probably this hotel is used due to size and location, not because, as another reviewer suggested, budget conscious. The pros--great location for sightseeing, clean room with good size for Europe, space for luggage, an ironing room available if needed, large flat screen, coffee-tea service in room, great hairdryer in bathroom, very nice... It DOES NOT have A/C despite many sites saying it does. Instead you have air vents making the room stuffy, and if you need to open the windows because of this you then get the loud noises of Amsterdam. Also for a 4* there were many broken things in the room including the chair at the desk, plug sockets not... More

Great location and the staff were friendly. But my room was very substandard and was never serviced properly while I was there. I stayed a few nights and had different prices each night. 130 euros for the first night was fair. 300 + for the next night was just outrageous. this is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of... More

Great location but a bit too expensive for what you get. Great staff who tried hard to make things better for chain whose head office doesn't seem to care to improve things like no air conditioning, inoperable fans, dark rooms and hallways. 240 voltage in bathroom only, but doesn't work with North American hairdryers anyways. Only upgraded rooms have decent... More

The hotel was above average but not quite very good! We stayed in a luxury room on the 7th floor - it was hardly luxury - the only difference from the standard room was it's size - it really was a standard+ room. The AC was not at all effective and the reading light by the bed did not work.... More

Arrived at the hotel as usual with no paperwork. The young hottie at the reception said no prob and gave me key etc. She was exceptionally well mannered and gave a very good first impression of the place. I think it was a 4 star. Only bad thing about my trip was when I got busted trying to bring some... More

We were a little sceptical when we booked this hotel due to some of the poor trip adviser reviews. I have to say the room was immaculately clean. The bed was very large and comfortable. The rooms had large LED TV's with BBC One and Two and the ones we had, had a large balcony overlooking the city. The bathroom... More

Looks like the rooms are getting renovated - still some bugs to work-out (e.g. the A/C). Great location, easy walk to most attractions. Free wifi - larger rooms for Europe; excellent shower and thick towels!
