This was our 2nd visit to Amsterdam and we loved it the first time but on this visit we wanted to be more in the centre of things so booked this hotel, big mistake. When we arrived we couldn't check in this was fine so we decided to have a drink in the bar, very grubby and this gave me... More

We spent one night at this hotel situated close to the main station (10 min walk) but away from the tourists. This is where Amsterdamers live and shop. Walking distance to the Dam where we picked up a free walking tour. The front desk was a bit brusque, and when we indicated that the sliding bathroom door was stuck it... More

Arrived at hotel around 6pm. It was in complete darkness and when we finally saw someone in reception we knocked on the window. Was told hotel had gone bankrupt and we would have to look elsewhere. After informing them that we had already paid they agreed to let us stay for the 2 nights although no food or drink available.

Love it or hate it, every time i'm in Amsterdam ,if theres available room i'll opt in to Art Hotel Dulac.. The interior, the intrigue to find the actual hotel, and the cleanliness are top noch. The staff needs a bit more politeness and English, apart from that the hotel is the peach.. Highly recommended :)

The hotel is in a good location and the staff were very helpful but when I arrived my room hadn't been cleaned properly, there was rubbish left from the previous occupants and the floors were dirty too. It's a shame as the hotel has the potential to be great, didn't make any complaints as we were only staying one night,... More

Very clean. Staff very helpful. breakfast excellent and plenty to choose from service can be slow.. Restaurant in the evening very 20s but food good. The Hotel is in the best place 10 min walk from the Station. Coaches leave opposite station for your outings. Plenty of buses.

Stayed three night last week. Very small and cozy hotel. Location is perfect. five minutes walk from Anne Frank House and full of small interesting stores and a supermarket is right around the corner. Stay closer to city downtown, yet enjoy local favorite area. We stayed room 501, panoramic suite with view of city.. Prefect ! This is the hotel... More

We stayed 4 nights in Sept. Were very disappointed with rooms, very expensive, must have been charged more for location than hotel quality. Best I could rate it would be 2 1/2 *. 4 nights in Dubai in a suite (full buffet b.fast included) cost us less!!

Our junior suite was of good size. Great location and close to most things. Walking distance to the main square, red light, station. Staff are friendly and helpful. Also rooms were clean.had a lift so was good. Beds were comfy. They had an English plug though!!! Good tv channels also. The things that let the hotel down were fact that... More

This hotel is in good location in a walking distance from the train station and many sights. Lots of restaurants in the neigbourhood as well as bars etc. if you are interested on those. Short distance to the shopping streets as well. The hotel itself I would not rate as 4 stars but rather 3. Nothing really to complain in... More
