I stayed here last night and it was a good experience. I chose it because it was convenient for work. If I was a tourist, I would stay more centrally. Cheerful, attentive service. Nice room with canal view. Although May, the weather was dreary, so I couldn't enjoy the lovely canalside terrace but can well imagine it would be perfect... More

I had booked the hotel some months previously using LastMinute.com's 'secret hotels' facility and thought I had got a good bargain at just over £100 per night. However,I was slightly nervous when I read the more recent reviews about the overbooking problems others had experienced. We had no such problem and certainly when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon the hotel seemed... It was an okay hotel, but a bit out of the city center, and did not have much of a feel of 'charm' to it. Would have preferred to stay in the city center itself. I recommend that you ask for a canal-side (even-numbered) room at check-in, however, if you don't already have one - that helps, rather than the... More

A group of us availed of a 'Last Minute' deal to stay at his hotel. The deal included a 2 night stay in 2 x double rooms and 1 x King family room. On arriving at the hotel we were advised that the hotel was overbooked and that we were being transfered to the Holiday Inn at the Airport. The... More

The hotel was great...nice views of the river. If you have access to the executive lounge, the food is great, as well as the views of the city! Close to Vondel park (less than 10 mins walk) and doesn't take more than a 25 min walk to the center of the city. The tram is also a 5 min walk... More

Seven of us arrived at this hotel after booking a few days holidays back in January. We were told that the hotel had - just that very morning - overbooked because of a conference which had "brought more delegates". We were to be re-located to a Holiday Inn at the Airport; oh, and the hotel would "cover the cost of... More

Stayed one night for a business meeting - I chose the Hilton because part of the meeting was held there and because they had sent me a 'Gold VIP card' (I have been gold at Priority Club and Starwood although it does not really influence my choice). At check-in, I was told that this card would have needed to be... More

I have stayed at this hotel maybe 8 times. I don't know if they keep up with things like that, but the desk staff seems to get nicer each time. I travel a lot for biz / leisure and usually stay at Hiltons, so I usually am put in the Executive Rooms. I believe that the executive rooms are actually... More

Stay here every time for business and every time wonder why, yes, the convenient distance to all my meetings, no other reason at all. The hotel itself is not too bad for a Hilton, it's clean, relatively cosy, and if you get a room with a view onto the canal, it's actually quite nice, however, it is let down time... More
