We stayed at this nice hotel for three days. For being away from the US, naturally, I like keeping up with my email, I know sounds crazy being on vacation. They wanted to charge 27 Euros for internet! That's $38 US dollars. Rip Off. Not even free wifi in the lobby to use my iPhone. Second, the breakfast was great.... more

Stayed with my partner for his birthday. Paid small money for the stay as I was a staff member from different Hilton. Service was excellent. Got a complementary bottle of sparkling wine, fruits and chocolates. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. I had the best pancakes ever for breakfast. Hotel is located in walking distant to Van Gogh museums and... more

I really can't recommend this hotel highly enough! We saw the reviews for this hotel on Trip Advisor and managed to get a good deal on lastminute.com. It was my partners 30th birthday so I emailed beforehand to see if we could get a room with a city view. Not only did we get this but we also arrived back... more

We stayed at the Hilton on June 27, 2009. Our room was via Hotwire...a fantastic rate for this hotel. At first arrival, I was disillusioned on the location...a 20 euro cab ride from station. However, our room had a real King size bed and was the most comfy of our entire vacation. We overlooked the canal and it was just... more

Hotel was great, food and rest of amenities very, very pricey. We payed 17 Euros for an Apple Pie (including room service charge). Hotel was far from central Amsterdam, after midnight transportation was hard to find since you could only get a cab and it was pricey. Loved the hotel, but not a big fan of the location being this... more

I have to say that I was very disappointed with my 1 night 40,000 point reward stay. This place is over priced in points and with cash.. You can do much better some place else. As a Hilton Diamond VIP I was upgraded to an Ex Plus room, really? The room was on the smaller side for a Hilton in... more

Hotel is a little out of town but around 5 mins from a tram stop that takes you directly to and from central station, which takes around 15 - 20 mins, so not a problem. The hotel has a lovely lobby with a very efficient front desk. The room was large, nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast room very nice,if you... more

We stayed at the Amsterdam Hilton for 7 nights in mid May 2009. It was a combination business/leisure trip. We arrived at the hotel and were immediately greeted with a warm "we've been expecting you" welcome. We were upgraded to a room with access to the executive lounge which was a very nice treat. The hotel was spotless, the staff... more

Stayed for a business trip in this hotel, just for one day but I enjoyed it. I liked all those little and thoughtfull extras like a card with all kinds of pillows so you can choose a pillow you like. Nice terrace and friendy staff. As I am not a big breakfast eater, the costs for a breaksfast where quite... more

Older hotel but well maintained, friendly staff that all spoke English better than me! Restaurant and Bars unbeliveably expensive but a couple of blocks away a number of different restuarants -- Tapas, Italian that were extremely good at reasonable prices. Hotel a little ways from centre of town but by bus 5 minutes to Van Gogh museum and water taxis.... more
