Booked a room at this hotel for one night, travelling to Amsterdam for business. I got a room in the basement, which was fine, as I had no time to look at the view anyways. But if view and windows are important to you, and you're travelling for pleasure, you'd probably be more comfortable higher up in the building. The... More

Right from the moment my colleague and me walked through the front door, the hotel staff were fantastic. They knew who were we were, checked us in efficiently, had our material to hand (which had been posted in advance of our arrival), were funny and attentive and helpful. As many other reviewers have noted, the location is fantastic and I... More

This is a great boutique hotel just blocks from the National Museums. It is in a very upscale suburb of Amsterdam with very good restaurants around it. It is only a few blocks from the main area of Amsterdam. Very easy walk to what ever you might want to see. It is modern hotel with good size rooms. The bed... More

Not quite certain how I found this boutique hotel; it's on a unique, residential street with a lot of other quaint boutique hotels. Turns out it's walking distance to the museum district. It looks small when you walk in, but the king room was a nice, comfortable size. The serivce was delightful. Oh, and unusual, the mini bar is by... More

This is a very nice small hotel in a great location. The staff was very helpful and informative. It is in the museum district and and easy to get to water buses. We could easily walk to good restaurants that the staff suggested. There is a nice lobby with an honor bar and snacks. The the rooms are a decent... More

This is a perfect boutique hotel on a quiet street near the museums and fashion area, and in a good suburb of Amsterdam. If you love where you stay to be up to date and still offer embracing and welcoming done spaces, this is for you. Its modern with exceptionally executed interiors in the public areas and rooms. Loved the... More

Nice boutique hotel with sometimes helpful staff...depends... 2 min walk to Museum quarter. Good breakfast with fresh delicios pancakes. Small rooms, comfortable bed. Had problems with wi-fi... Didn'T work for a day. Had only hot water for half a day, found it funny at first but annoying when the problem started lasting for hours...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in September. Thomas was exceptional with recommendations and directions. He really made our stay in Amsterdam. When we come again we will stay here. Also, it was the only hotel in Europe that we've stayed that has wash cloths. It was a nice room size even with 2 large suitcases.

"Boutique" hotel with everything going for it, except the lighting and mirrors in the bedroom. Obviously designed by a tall man who didn't wear make-up! Otherwise the bedroom and bathroom were perfectly equipped and the beds and pillows extra comfortable. Also heating/air conditioning system was easy to work which makes a change. Excellent position for "doing" the museums and a... More

This charming hotel is on a quiet, lovely block seconds from the Van Gogh museum. The executive room had a rain shower and whirlpool tub which was delightful after spending the day walking. The 5 tram is a block away and takes you to the center of the city, though it's not a long walk if you chose. The hotel... More
