We spent two days in mid-August and had a fabulous time. After spending hours on the internet trying to find a quiet hotel in Amsterdam I found the Prince Henry. It is located next to Vondelpark in a quiet residential neighborhood. If you walk in to town it is a nice short walk through the park. If you want to... More

It's quite nice but you are only allowed to smoke cigarettes in the garden... Which seems pointless in amsterdam. The breakfast is a bit rubbish, the coffee machine is nescafe and the iPod dock doesn't fit an iPhone 4.

Our first bad review, quite a blow! (No pun intended). Let me refute opinion with fact. We are, as far as I know, the only establishment in Amsterdam that gives guests a private garden/patio where they may smoke. However, it turns out that these guests wanted to smoke marihuana in our garden (on rereading their review with Amsterdam....in the text... More

The Prince henry apartments were exactly how they were described. They are situated in a beautiful part of the city and we enjoyed the close proximity to Vondelpark. The trip was very relaxing, this was helped by Petra being available to help us with useful information about transportation around the city, telling us the best places to eat and booking... More

I have have been to Amsterdam on a number of occasions both for business and pleasure. I have stayed in a number of different 4-5 star hotels. On this trip I left my hotel booking to the last minute and The Prince Henry suites were the only available accommodation I could find. I was a little apprehensive as it seemed... More

It is a hiring of a very great quality, not far from the center of Amsterdam, close to beautiful a park. The elegant installation and the comfort of the room, having a terrace, create an atmosphere of calms and harmony. One can also appreciate the culinary talents of Petra, chief of Van Niftrik Traiteurs, and the good mood of Joop,... More

We stayed two nights the end of May in the Prince Henry Suites, and it made our trip to Amsterdam all the better. We felt like real natives in this lovely spot on the Vondelpark, free from all the crowded tourist spots but within easy distance to the Leidesplein on foot or by tram. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly,... More

If you are visting for the first time in Amsterdam, Prince Henry is the best home away from home to stay in. My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay in Prince Henry. Its modern, clean, cosy, comfortable, quiet, private, fresh and convenient. A few minutes tram ride Van Gogh Museum and about 15 minutes ride to the... More

We booked a last-minute weekend break to Amsterdam and found the 'Prince Henry Suites' on the tripadvisor website- since then we have noticed it rushing up the ratings which is well deserved in our view! As another reviewer mentioned the owners, Petra and her husband, are very friendly and helpful but not intrusive; Petra kindly recommended and booked a couple... More
