I booked this hotel through Expedia’s ‘Mystery Hotel’ scam. I was offered a deep discount for a 5* hotel in the museum quarter. This is what they produced, a hotel in Amsterdam Rai at a £5 discount to their next best rate. This may be technically 5* based on the facilities it offers but in terms of aesthetics it’s a... More

On arrival everything went smoothly, the staff were friendly and helpful. Orignally we had book and standard room but were offered the choice to upgrade and took it. The extras included a "Jacuzzi bath," which sounds lovely but was very disappointing. It was a small bath that only produced cool bubbles. This meant that my lovely warm bath was cold... More

Lovely hotel with good beds, nice staff and big rooms. All clean. It is not a 5* hotel so don't expect this. It is a 4* definately. The decor is dated and needs revamped. Mini bar very expensive. Overall good hotel but way too far out and takes too long to the centre by tram and taxi . More

In the week before Christmas I’ve spent a night with my mother in law in this wonderful hotel. It is located in a nice and residential area of Amsterdam. The beds are wonderful, great staff at the reception and restaurant. The dinner was awesome! We had chosen for the menu of the month, this was a good value for money,... More

Stayed here for Halloween weekend in Amsterdam. They allowed us to check in early at 10am which was great as we were tired after out early flight. Room was fine, but maybe I expected more from a 5-star hotel with 5-star prices!! Didn't try the breakfast as it was really expensive (around 23 euro!!). Hotel is well located near the... More

A very good quality hotel. Rooms are light and airy, staying in Executive room. Food is excellent. Staff are very customer focused as you would expect from a hotel of this quality More

We won this hotel on Priceline and were very pleased overall. We loved the location and much preferred it to being in the over touristed center. Staff was great. Room was very nice with great beds and well done bathrooms. I would give this a higher rating if there were a health club and if they were to replace the... More

I have stayed in better 3 star hotels. However the staff were very friendly and helpful A tram stop is only 5 minutes away so very easy to get into the city Would stay here again but only if I can get a bargain price More

Stayed across New Year, and was disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed in the evenings. Although as others have pointed out the tram stop is very near, the trams stopped running at 8pm on New Years eve, so we had to dine early in a local steak house as they seemed to be the only place open and...
