My husband and I had a two night stay at Hotel Notting Hill and found it delightful. Located in a quite area of Amsterdam yet just blocks away from the Museum District and the Old City Center. If you enjoy walking and a taste of local life this hotel is a gem. Rooms were very clean and spacious. I rate... More

We were well impressed by the welcome (we had some troubles with our lost luggage) and quality of the room, although it was located in a funny kind of trench (later we learnt that these basements rooms were typical of the city). It is small hotel with a rather sophisticated atmosphere and excellent service. It was Easter and some chocolate... More

A spacious room (315) that was quiet. Good bedding and towels and other amenities. So i would recommend this Hotel. Price for room was attractive versus the conference Hotel I moved to after Notting Hill (to attend the conference). Had I know the good price value ratio at Notting Hill I would have stayed and taken the tram to the... More

What a pleasant hotel in an excellent location. Tram right outside to take you to dam square. This place is perfect and I wish we had booked longer so we could have seen more. I would definitely stay here again. You can go for a walk down the canal right next to the hotel which is nice. also the hotel... More

Lovely hotel, nice staff, great location (tram outside). The only thing I was disappointed with is our room was situated with an alleyway leading beside it... with an enormous Wrought Iron gate (10ft high or more). Every day, including nights and early mornings, there would be people opening the gate and it would slam against our room wall, suffice to... More

I stayed her for two days on a business trip. The hotel is quiet and staff were friendly. Too bad that the room did not have a bath. The location is close to be slightly outside of the city center, which probably explains why the price was very reasonable and since Amsterdam is a compact city and with several tramways... More

I organised this hotel for our trip to Amsterdam in April 2015. We stayed for five days and we received outstanding service. The transport links were second-to-none, Tram 4 from Centraal Station stops right outside (Stadhouderskade) and only takes approximately 10 minutes. On the first night we checked in with a lovely receptionist whom was very accommodating throughout our stay... More

This is a friendly, relaxing hotel. Spacious rooms, comfy beds. Set in a quiet location, with very easy travel to Amsterdam central. Set on the canal, some rooms have a beautiful view. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is expensive, but with lots of food places nearby, you won't go hungry! Good wifi too in the rooms. Large... More

Decided on The Notting Hill as it had good reviews, is 4* and looked really nice. We made the right choice! It is in the Eastern canal ring, very easy to get to; the no. 4 tram and the water hop on/off canal boat stop right outside. The room was large with a fabulous bathroom, coffee machine & kettle and... More

Just back from three nights here. Good points - helpful reception staff who printed our tickets to attractions purchased online with no fuss; really attractive reception area and restaurant; fluffy robes and towels in the rooms; fast free wifi; lovely spacious bathroom and shower; fantastic location - all the main attractions within walking or quick tram hop distance; happy to...
