We stayed at Hotel Restaurant Larende for 2 nights in late June. The room (103) was really nice. In the back, so it was very quiet, and with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very nice. The breakfasts were great, with many choices for some one who is gluten free like me. They even brought me gluten-free bread... More

Very glad I chose this hotel. The location was slightly outside of the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but the tram to central is just a few minutes walk away. The neighbourh is lovely, and I wish we'd had more time to explore the surrounding.

I have just left this hotel, after a really nice stay. It is a small hotel; basic, but clean, friendly, with a really nice staff. I'd recommend it strongly, as offering excellent value. It is in a nice part of the town, with reasonable places to eat nearby (I particularly enjoyed a small Indonesian restaurant). It also offers good food... More

My parents stayed here between 21-29 of May. The host was very welcoming, willing to help all the time. The owner has one goal - the tourist must have the best time in his hotel. The room was clean, every 2 days they changed the sheets and towels. Breakfast was rich, fresh and had a large variety to choose from... More

Hotel rooms are generally small in Amsterdam (for people on my budget, about $150/night). We stayed in room 403 and it was SMALL--perhaps "normal small" for Amsterdam, but small nonetheless. We asked for a double (assuming one bed) and ended up pushing two twin beds together (which was fine). The bed was pretty hard and the foam pillow was not... More

Very close to tram, 5 mns from the square, yet very quiet and relaxing hotel. The rooms are very clean, the staff helpful. Breakfast is very boring. The manager is very helpful and attentionate. Free coffee and tea and the wifi works great in the rooms. We got a room with a small balcony. Will def go back to larende.

This is s great three star hotel with everything I look for: helpful staff, good location in a real neighborhood, full breakfast, all at a fair price. The hotel manager, who I think is also the owner, is generous with information and quick to offer a water or coffee. The hotel is in a close-in neighborhood, on three tram lines,... More

This hotel is wonderful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner, Murat, is amazing. My fiance, without realizing it, had left his satchel filled with cash, prescription drugs (Lortab), and passport, on a chair in an open eating area in the Museumplein. As we walked to find an ATM, a man was blocking traffic and honking. "What the... More

We highly recommend this Hotel in Amsterdam. The rooms and bathroom are perfectly clean. We had a balcony in the room, that was very helpful as it was warm outside. The price includes the breakfast, which was great and offers diversity. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the owner takes care of his clients. We felt at home.... More

We wanted a traditional European style hotel rather than the standard "chain" hotel and Larende gave us exactly that! The property is spotless and the staff welcoming. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable and the shower hot! Windows that open and a little balcony gave natural light and fresh air. The staff were great, as was the... More
