My husband and I stayed here for two nights. Wonderful friendly service. Comfy bed, spacious room with mini bar TV and en suite. Continental breakfast was great too! Owner Paul and staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough to help you! Would definitely stay again. Great location close enough to walk everywhere but far enough out of the centre... More

Our family of three stayed in Room 112 - the front basement room. It is just 2 steps down from street level with it's own door to the street - nice to be able to pop out for a weather check in the morning. The lower ceilings were no problem for my 5'10" husband. The couch became our 21 year... More

Stayed at the Orlando for a long weekend in March 2013. We arrived early to our room, but Rose let us drop our luggage there while she cooked breakfast for us and told us she'd have it cleaned and ready for us in a couple of hours. Our room was on the basement level with its own street access. The... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in March and had a lovely stay. We were booked into Room 111, the smallest and cheapest room, but when we arrived we were upgraded to 114 for free as we were the only guests. The room was very large and comfortable and extremely quiet! The location was fantastic as it was... More

Really fabulous hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. Right around the corner from great shopping, but where isn't in Amsterdam? In room 111, we may have the worst room in the place, and it is great. I was expecting a room the size of our 2 beds, in the basement. What I got was a sweet room with a nice... More

After tiny rooms in Barcelona and Venice, the spaciousness of our second floor room was amazing. The room was large enough to have a table/desk and chair and a couch. What a pleasure to spread out. The view from the second floor of the canal was lovely. The host and staff went the extra mile to make our three night... More

We had a very nice stay in Room 117 for a couple of nights in late March. Our friend had a room on the ground floor overlooking the lovely garden. The room was on the second floor with larger windows overlooking a quiet street and beautiful canal. Room 117 was spacious, bright, clean and comfy. The best part is the... More

Stayed here for a short break. Large clean room with view over garden and good bathroom. Hotel is in great location on pretty canal in good part of town. You can walk everywhere or use the tram which is 100 metres from front door.

We stayed at the Hotel Orlando for 4 nights, our last night was New Years Eve- a great time to experience Amsterdam. We loved the ambience of the area and New Years Eve with the fireworks everywhere and the people out revelling really made us feel we'd experienced a bit of Amsterdam life. One couldn't ask for a better location.... More

Nice little hotel, no more than 6 rooms in the center of Amsterdam, near De Carre, Waterlooplein and the Amstel river that cross the city. The owners Paul and his partner run the hotel. Only the breakfast is very poor and not fresh so i recommend to walk and get somewhere around, there are many good places to have a... More
