This is a lovely place to stay - we had a beautiful room up in the eaves with a balcony overlooking the rooftops... Martin is an excellent host, providing a warm welcome, and excellent breakfasts in a massive basket delivered to your room. Best of all, he provides personalised tips to help you get the most out of this brilliant... More

I had checked TripAdvisor and noticed that the score was 9.8 which astonished me as there are some picky people lets face it! But Martins welcome and the fresh roses in the room, heated towels, beautifully comfortable beds and pristine soft linen was wonderful. My brother and his wife were staying at the Hilton at the same time and were... More

Overall we enjoyed and satisfied with our stay in Frederik Park House, which is a nice canal house, except for a few minor points. 1) Email exchanges The owner was very kind and offered us very useful info when we arrived but prior to our trip, I asked a few questions about how to go to a certain destination and... Don't miss this amazing place if you're planning a trip to Amsterdam. Very well located beautiful town house overlooking the park on one side, gardens and terraces at the back, within a few minutes walk of some great bars and restaurants and shopping, museums just 10-15 minutes pleasant walking distance, extremely comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms. Amazing breakfasts. Martin... More

Wow! This is a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location to explore everything you want to in Amsterdam. With a very good selection of restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away, the centre of town about 20 minutes walk, or the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark just 10 minutes away. If walking isn't for you then the local Tram... More

Well, you can start by choosing the Frederik Park House for your accommodation. We can only share the enthusiasm shown in many other reviews: tasteful, comfortable, friendly and very well situated for everything that Amsterdam has to offer (which is a lot) - difficult to to ask for more! Heartily recommended!

I met my daughter in Amsterdam and spent a quant and charming and warm and cuddly week at the Frederik Park House on Fredericksplein in Amsterdam. I own vacation rentals on Sanibel Island, Florida and know what it takes to make guests feel welcome. Martin made us feel special. He took time to make suggestions, always had fresh flowers in... We spent a great weekend in Amsterdam, in part because of Martin and the Frederik Park House. This is a small hotel in a restored 17th century building. It is not on a canal, but faces a park in a quiet section of Amsterdam, just around the corner from plenty of restaurants and shops. There is a tram stop 50... More

We stayed for 3 nights here in room 301. A large through-room with bed on entry and lounge at the far end overlooking the park. Our stay was the essence of calm. Martin and Franz take the utmost care to make it all seem effortless and that tranquility imposes itself into the fabric of this small but perfect hotel.
