I have just come back from a one night stay at this hostel with friends. We stayed in a three bed dorm which was just about adequate. The sheets were clean and the plugs worked but the lighting was broken and the room was so tiny we barely had any room to put our cases. There is no locker storage... More

The lounge area on the first floor was cool. You can watch tv and there are snacks to buy. And the location is good. Everything is in walkable distance. That being said, the room we stayed in was scary. The beds were moist, there was mold on the walls... And the wifi was not dependable.

I couldn't believe how much we had to pay for this dump. And that's what it ultimately is...a dump! We had a private room with a bunk bed and a sink (but no lockers). The sheets were covered in blood stains and white "unidentifiable" stains. The staff didn't even bother to tuck in the bed sheet on the side of... More

Not impressed by anything here. Disgusting rooms and facilities. The one bathroom for the floor was tiny, didn't even try to shower, room felt grimy. Breakfast=bread and PB. Staff=strange. Can't recommnd

The orfeo hostel really isn't terrible. Some of the reviews I had read had made me think that it was going to be a absolute hell hole. The rooms are very basic, literally just beds and a sink on a wall, you share the shower/washroom with all the others on your floor, yet I never waited for either, however this... More

Extremely noisey ALL night long (sleeping was imposible, we stayed there three nights, incuding a sunday to monday), just one diminute bathroom shared per floor (30 people), hedious smell of cleaning products and insecticide, the "breakfast" was horrible (1 piece of old cold bread, no toaster), staff is generally unfriendly, unexpected extra costs for everything (city taxes, bag storage, etc)... We went 6 people and we paid like we were in a 5 stars hotel. And this hostel is just horrible. Dirty, the rooms are horrible and small, the breakfast is the worst i've ever eaten in a hostel and I've never paid so much for a 6 beds room in my life. I'm an experienced traveller and I can... More

Fairly standard hostel, nothing special get what you pay for. I didn't stay over a weekend though which I was told my other guests is ridiculously over priced for what it is. The free breakfast is just peanut butter, jam and some loafs of bread but there is a kitchen so maybe buy your own stuff. We stayed in a... More
