The location has been mentioned before, and I can only concur. Very nice to be able to get to Jordaan and other Amsterdam locations in a matter of minutes, but have a quiet and secluded place to stay. The room was a little "compact" but we were warned and it didn't lack in comfort, and we did have an evocative... More

Very helpful staff, they were superb. Nice location, about a 20 minute walk from the central train station. Lots of stuff to do and places to eat around here. Pro tip - be sure to visit the bar. Pro tip - if you smoke, including cigars, there is a smoking room in the bar at the top of the steps.... More

This hotel was a great base for our visit to Amsterdam. It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do, but enough off the beaten path so it was also quiet and provided a great night's sleep. I loved the view of the canal, and our room was very nice and comfortable. All of the staff were very nice... More

My sister and I stayed at this hotel in late July 2014 and loved it! The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. On arrival, we were warmly greeted and given an overview of the hotel and Amsterdam, with useful recommendations and a map too! We LOVED the room we stayed in, 229,... More

We only stayed one night here but wish it could have been longer. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decorated eclectic. Great coffee machine. Lovely view over a canal. Easy walking distance to excellent restaurants and the sights. So close to the Anne Frank house.

Very happy and satisfied. Staff went above their duty to make our stay memorable. Stayed for two nights and breakfast, room and staff were great. First floor rooms are newly renovated, so try to get those rooms if you can.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The location is perfect, the hotel is spotless, but by far the best thing is the wonderful staff. They can't do enough for you and are very friendly. I also recommend their breakfast. A wonderful stay!

Our second stay at this very lovely hotel and we must say that we absolutely love it! It's centrally located, within walking distance from the Central Station. The staff is always helpful and friendly. We stayed in the large canal facing room this time. Huge windows to see the boats going by ! It's very spacious and the nespresso bar... More
