Really would recommend this accomdation. Only downside is no breakfast included which I didn't realise but plenty of places close by. Would definately use again though.

My sister and I had a wonderful two night stay in the Vermeer Suite in late August. The accommodation was excellent but what made our stay so delightful was the staff, with special mention to Frida. Nothing was too much trouble, whether it was pre-booking entrance tickets for the museums or popping around the corner to buy us a bottle... More

We stayed in the Mondrian suite and everything was perfect. The room was clean and nice with lots of room. The owner was very nice to us in planning the trip and in organizing our time in Amsterdam. The location is great for visiting the sites and it was easy for me to get to my meetings throughout the city.... More

This hotel is quite simply amazing! You will not find a room as nice and to such a high standard in all of Amsterdam, especially for the price! I stayed here with my wife for our first anniversary and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the Rembrandt suite and were instantly impressed the second we got into the room.... More

Tips for writing a great review Do The service was exceptionnally excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. The addition of a small kitchen in the suite was a bonus if you wish to prepare a simple light breakfast or lunch. (Good supermarket about 5 mins walk away). Photos on website really do it justice. Hotel ideally located, in... More

BEST time at Museum Suites! My room was gorgeous and the owner Frida along with her daughter Annemarie were wonderful! They couldn't have been nicer, always ready to inform, accommodate, and always with a friendly smile. I would go back there again the first chance I get. SO much more than a big hotel, you get the best of it... More

Anna Marie and Frida welcomed us to their luxury hotel where we had the priviledge of staying in the Vermeer Suite for three nights. The rooms were beautifully appointed with so many extra amenities that made our stay so elegant and comfortable.

Perfect for both leisure and business. I stayed for some business matter, but I will certainly return just to visit. This place is more a b&b than a hotel. It makes it very friendly and relaxed while offering modern and high quality rooms. Just one downturn: parking charges last until midnight!!! Beside this, definitelly a great place to enjoy the... we stayed one night at the rembrandt suite and very pleased that we were given early check-in - Anna-Marie gave really good suggestions on places to eat nearby, and my kids loved the chocolates at her desk (she was so kind to give some at check-out). The room was stylish, spacious, very comfortable bed, lusciously soft towels, spotlessly clean and... More

The room & management are absolutely great. I have traveled a lot, and no other hotel have left such a good feeling. This will be my place always in A'dam.

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
