Wonderful location on a canal in the heart of the old city, but very quiet. Excellent customer service and attention to detail everywhere. Rooms are comfortable with a modern, clean decor and huge floor to ceiling windows. The building is historically significant,, but has all the modern conveniences today's traveler requires. A special treat in the heart of Amsterdam.

I've always stayed either at the Conservatorium or the Canal House, both excellent by the way, but The Dylan is just different. Wonderful service, wonderful restaurants, located exactly where you want to be when in Amsterdam, probably the best.

Great location, boutique/luxury hotel for clients AAA. Great restaurant and food. It's going to be a great opportunity if you get the chance to stay at Dylan. Only 49 rooms, it offers a loft to accommodate families. Not recommended for totally disabled guests.

I seldom give a hotel in this price bracket a five star rating. At this price level expectations are high but the Dyan truly met expectation on every level Just be aware that it is in an old building and that will almost certainly mean stairs somewhere on the way to your room.

We had a noisy room as there were renovations happening on a neighbours roof. The room was not as large as the photos suggested, however we did get to see another room in the older part of the hotel and it was beautiful compared to ours. They charged 75 euro for an hours massage. After travelling from Australia we needed... More

We stayed at the Dylan for 4 nights in late May. It truly felt like our home away from home. The location is perfect. It's an easy walk to the Dam Square, to the major museums, to lovely Jordaan, and it's on one of the charming, quieter neighborhood canals. Our room was lovely, immaculate, large bathroom with soaking tub (... More

Excellent location, great service, very decent food, outstanding price quality. Everything is very good, nothing is perfect. (As one would often find in Holland). If you want a perfection search other places (there are some, i just don't want to advertise here). If you want a very good place, this is a safe bet.

The ONLY place to stay in Amsterdam! Centrally located amongst the 9 streets this gorgeous smallish hotel is beyond chic and impeccable. Feels like staying with friends in a series of combined 17th century mansions with lots of secret nooks and stair wells. You may have an Instagram overload with all the photos you'll take. Each of the rooms is... More

Well positioned to walk around town getting to know the city. Staff were helpful and polite. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious with all amenities available and lovely views of the canal. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom included a lovely bath, shower, basin and enclosed toilet. All were in good condition and clean. I would be... More

From the moment we were greeted at the door of this small boutique hotel to the moment we left, we were made to feel as though we were welcome, valued guests.
