Recently I had the privilege to stay in "The Dylan" for a total of 3 wonderful nights. As part of my business travel, I have the opportunity to stay in many 5 Star facilities in many different countries, but my recent stay at The Dylan was a quality experience that will definitely have me coming back. From the moment of... More

Located in the 'nine streets' area which feature enchanting independent fashion shops and restaurants, this boutique hotel is close to all the attractions of Amsterdam. Overlooking a canal in a quiet street our bedroom was at the back but still had a pleasant outlook. Our bed was the most comfortable we have slept in anywhere in the world. We dined... More

SJ and OJ treated me to a luxurious weekend in Amsterdam, our first visit and no better place to stay than at this wonderful boutique hotel. This has to be one of the most pleasurable stays we have had. The personal service was second to none, the style of the old house was exquisite located in the heart of the... More

With a very good location near the nine streets and not far from the museums square this hotel offers you nice rooms and service. It has a nice restaurant, a small bar, small gymn, and other facilities. Daily rates are expensive.

Arrived I've Amsterdam after a 45 minute flight, we took an all electric Tessler taxi to the Dylan hotel located 20 minutes away in the western central canal area. Hotel is very smart and impressive with minimalist but effective decor. Our room was very clean, tidy and faultless with lovely original oak beams and a well stocked mini bar. The... More

This is my new favorite hotel in Amsterdam. I usually stay at the Hotel Pulitzer down the street, but because the Dylan was a SLH and member of fine hotels with AMEX, I gave it a shot. So let me start with the not so great... Remodeling of the OCCO Restaurant caused a ton of noise as I had booked... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience. We are so sorry to read that you didn’t knew about our renovations in advance (although it is communicated to the Travel Agents and mentioned in our AMEX FHR profile under Renovations, but still not always clear to the guests unfortunately). We can imagine that was a kind of a bummer and... More

What a great stay for my first visit to Amsterdam. I travel quite a bit and this was like a home away from home. First and foremost, the staff was so kind and helpful, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. It is a boutique property, which means it doesn't have some of the amenities that a... I have unfortunately stayed at one of the best if not the best in my opinion , hotels in Holland, Friendly and Classy at the same time, as you would expect in Holland a very cool happy well run establishment. From the moment of arrival this hotel is special. Outstanding location on the cannel bank and walking distance to city centre where there are shops and restaurants.
