From the minute we arrived, we were treated to THE best customer welcome and service. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help us. When researching rooms ensure you understand their rating system. We booked a "Good Room", not realising that it didn't have a canal view. a "Better Room" would of... More

We stayed here for three nights and were thoroughly impressed. The hotel is well located and well presented. Our room was excellent, the staff likewise. A nice touch was the free glass of prosecco that we were offered when the check in staff realised it was my wife's birthday. Wifi reception in our room wasn't great, but to be honest... More

Visited Amsterdam many times, came back for my wife's birthday early January and wanted to stay somewhere a little bit more special. Read many reviews and Canal House fitted the bill. Staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, had a canal view room, which was fantastic! 10 minutes (max) walk from the centre and 2 minutes from the Jordaan... More

Rooms, services, food, 10/10 for us. Highly recommended. Very good location in the city center. Rooms are small but functional & fashionable. Services are awesome! Bike rental on location, beautiful private garden located in the inside area.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend city getaway. The staff were very attentive and polite and we had a lovely welcome. The hotel is well presented and decorated in-keeping with the boutique style. It's small and tall. We stayed in a standard room overlooking the garden. The room layout was interesting as the bathroom was basically part... More

Great place to stay on business though I would book it as a tourist as well. It's in an old house and has all the charm and character you might expect from being in a building with such heritage. The owners have done a lot of work on the interior design so it's very modern in terms of amenities and... More

A 400 year old Painted Dame Brownstone vibe, fusing art and legendary Amsterdam tolerance into a sweet-spot-stay on the Kaisergracht Canal. With twenty-something rooms in distinctive configurations, this feels more B&B than Boutique Hotel in my opinion....and it works quite nicely with a most courteous and very friendly staff the perfect touch. Just back from a four nite stay in... More

My husband suprised me with a weekend for my 60th birthday in this amazing hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. It's in old canal houses, with a trendy renovation, a bit dark, but very special for romance. My room was decorated with many birthday balloons, wonderful. Our room had a look on the private terrace and japane-like garden and we... More

Stayed at this lovely hotel between Christmas and New Year. Lovely personal service, really nice breakfast, very cosy & stylish rooms and a cute little bar too - serving great cocktails and all day snacks including the very tasty lobster bitter ballen! The steps to the top floor rooms are very steep, but the staff is ready to take your... More
