My husband and I stayed at Hotel Pulitzer for 2 nights. The location was great, situated in front of the canal and very close to the Anne Frank Haus. The rooms were clean (I think they were all recently renovated). The only problem we had was with the reception upon check in and the concierge. We arrived just after 3PM... more

This hotel was great! The beds were amazingly comfortable!! What I loved best was that this hotel was in a great location, but not in the middle of "Tourist Town." It was an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Amsterdam but the hotel was situation in an area where you could be apart of the locals. There are... more

stayed only one night.location is nice, although there are even better places to stay.we had an award stay and were appointed ar oom with courtyard view. although not anything wrong with the room, size ,interior, and bathroom not matching 5 star international standards.hotel consists of different buildings and if one has to walk from one to the other, the impression is... more

Dear loyal guest, I sincerely thank you for taking some of your valuable time to share your experiences with us and future guests of Hotel Pulitzer. The charm of Hotel Pulitzer lies within its architecture and surroundings; in the heart of Amsterdam, located in twenty five old Amsterdam canal houses. This makes the hotel a place that shows the true...

I was very impressed with this hotel especially after staying in other hotels in Europe. The service was excellent! This hotel is staffed properly and in my opinion 5 star quality. The atmosphere and attitude of this hotel is exceptional. The room was very nice and modern. Excellent quality bed, bedding and furnishings. Heated marble floors in the bathroom. The... more

We stayed at the hotel for two nights in June 2009, in an executive room with a canal view, and unfortunately the hotel is the only thing that spoit an otherwise perfect weekend. We were willing to overlook the dirty stains on the carpet, lack of amenities and the fact that a member of staff knocked on our door to... more

We got a better rate through Starwood and loved this hotel. The location was even better than Dylan and we thought the room was quite, the bathroom nice and the staff was very helpful but not overly formal. They are voted best breakfast (very expensive if it's not included) but it is very nice. If you don't want to pay... more

Amsterdam proved to be a very interesting city, seemlingly switching from a hubbub of tourists and trashy souvenir shops, to arty and architectural landscapes in a flash. Thankfully, the Pulitzer lies in the latter, a welcome place to be whether it be for the overnight stay or just that midday pitstop. Located on one of the nicest streets (Prinsengracht), there... more

I booked this hotel for myself and five friends and we were all thoroughly impressed. It's a short tram-ride from Centraal Station or you could take a leisurely walk in less than 30mins. A great base to explore Amsterdam from. The staff were really first class in all parts of the hotel. Highly reccomended. more

The Pulitzer is a charming, historic hotel located in several canal houses. As such, the rooms are of varying quality. It's wonderful if you have a bright, spacious, top level room with details like original wood beams overlooking the canal, but far less impressive in an internal room. There are so many other lovely hotels in Amsterdam, however, that it... more
