It's a beautiful hotel with a good location. Easily to walk to places like Anne Frank House, The Dam, The Red Light District coffeeshops ;) The atmosphere is luxurious however the elevator is rather small. We had a room on the 2nd floor so we took the stairs most of the time. I suggest to get a room with a... More

My wife and I recently stayed a couple of nights at Hotel Pulitzer. The location was great, it was snowing and we were able to upgrade to a spacious canal room for just 50 euro extra. We could look out and watch the snow falling! This was a truly great experience. The breakfast buffet at first was`nt included in our... More

Spent a week here end of January and overall would highly recommend for Amsterdam. Great location in trendy area with lots of boutiques and restaurant/bars. It was away from touristy area but easy to walk/tram to the touristy parts. Service was excellent all around. Loved the espresso bar in the morning and the lounge bar overlooking the canal at night.... More

This is a good hotel in a really good location for the city centre and all the main tourist attractions as well as to enjoy the older parts of Amsterdam. Only down side to this is it is very close to some beautiful old churches that have bells ringing during the night...you get used to it quickly and it's not... More

We absolutely loved this hotel! It was a great location on the canal, a quick walk away from the Tram, Anne Frank House, pubs and restaurants. Definitely upgrade to a room overlooking the canal. The room itself was modern and luxurious yet still very quaint. More

The Pulitzer is a Starwood property and they have worked hard to modernize it. If you are looking for a modern hotel, stop right here. If you are looking for a nice hotel in the Old town of amsterdam, read on-Excellent location alongside the canal in Prinsengrach, Its a beautifully restored 1600's era neigbourhood and a walk every evening is... We spent the week including New Years at this wonderful hotel. The hotel has been forged out of half a block of traditional center Amsterdam houses. The amenities are modern and the concierge was incredibly helpful in suggesting and arranging the details of our stay including a terrific walking tour. The hotel layout is cozy and yet still spacious. More

I've stayed in many luxury hotels, and this is one of my favorites. It is small, intimate, and the staff is incredibly acommodating. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay, and it really is a great complimentary breakfast. In addition, the rooms and beds are very comfortable. We had a room that overlooked the garden (as opposed to... More

Spent a delightful 3 days at this unusual 5-star hotel in May 2011 following a transatlantic cruise that ended in Amsterdam, a city we truly enjoy. As SPG members, we stayed on Starwood points (a very reasonable amount, too!)--and considered an upgrade to a canal-view room but decided to wait for check-in to see the property. As others have explained... More

Dear Valued Guest, Many thanks for your extensive review on our hotel. I am delighted to read our ambassadors took the extra step to assist you with your room preferences and dietary wishes. I can imagine indeed that after such a long time at sea, you would prefer a garden or courtyard view, however the Canal View rooms are stunning... More

We arrived in Amsterdam at 7am with a check-in time of 2pm at Hotel Pulitzer. After a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, we arrived to an amazing lobby with a giant revolving door with display cases in it! They informed us our room wouldn't be ready until at least noon, but they would do their best to expedite... More
