Stayed for 4 nights; great location and just down the street from Anne Frank house.Concierge was very helpful. We had a great room on the 2nd floor, with French doors, overlooking Keizergracht canal.; Very picturesque. Took canal boat ride and walking tour through the hotel...excellent. The Keizergracht 238 Restaurant, on premises, was excellent.

Located near the Anne Frank House, this hotel is in 4 or 5 different canal houses connected together. It has to one of the biggest hotels on the canals. Rooms have a old world feel with wood floors and original windows. The restaurant surprised us both for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is being remodeled and the restaurant is in... More

A very nice hotel although I would only rate it at 4 stars myself. Lots of tv channels, nice bath, high ceilings and good closet space. Beware that a first floor canal room will be a bit loud. Room sizes do vary based on location. They use standard dutch TV's so hit 0->9 or up on the remote to turn... More

The location of the Pulitzer is superb -- situated in the historic Canal District, on the edge of the Jordaan neighborhood and 'De 9 Straatjes' (the Nine Streets) and only a block away from the Westerkerk and Anne Frank House. The Jordaan and Nine Streets offer lovely little shops, restaurants and cafes; the proximity of the Anne Frank House was... More

Stayed here for 4 nights while on a family reunion. Glad we did. It is a very nice and special place. Lets begin with the high points. The staff is first-rate, professional, friendly, accommodating, and apologetic when things don't go as planned. This applies to the individuals who first greet you at the door to the front desk team, to... More

The Pulitzer is a full-service, 4 star hotel well-located on the best canal in the city. Several 17th century canal houses have been attached to create the hotel, which gives the rooms character. We didn't take meals at the hotel, because of all the wonderful options right outside the door, but the lobby bar is very convenient for morning coffee.... More

Just spent 3 nights at your lovely hotel. Staff were kind & helpful from restaurant suggestions to directions to bringing up coffee maker. The rooms were smallish but clean & comfortable. The location was ideal. Workout room was small but adequate. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on that. It was a wonderful haven to come back to... More

Our multi-generational family enjoyed a lovely stay at Hotel Pulitzer as we explored Amsterdam. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. The food in the cafe and restaurant was fresh and flavorful. Plan to take the tour in their own historic Canal Boat-- excellent overview of the city by a charming Captain.

Staying at the Pulitzer gives one a sense of what it must have been like to live on one of the early modern canal rings, while enjoying every 21st century comfort from free high speed internet access and turn down service. The hotel is perfectly situated in the Unesco Heritage Western Canal district and is adjacent to the trendy Jordaan... More

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms were smaller than you would expect for a hotel this nice however they still feel spacious and the beds are really comfortable. The hotel has its own boat which I would recommend you take a trip on around the canels. Staff were very helpful.
