My wife and I stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon and we're thrilled with the greeting and service we received. We were upgraded to a wonderful split level suite, rose petals spread throughout and complementary champagne and strawberries. We really couldn't of been better treated.

To be fair, we booked the Pulitzer as part of a BA 'luxury break' weekend. I suppose we should have anticipated that BA's commercial arm would have negotiated a sharp deal and that therefore we would end up in one of the smallest and most remote rooms in the hotel. Also, the hotel is rebuiding itself from the inside and... More

This hotel is in a perfect location. It is an easy walk to many things including less han a 5 minute walk to Anne Frank's House. The staff is truly exceptional -- at reception they helped us to locate a walk, arranged for a taxi to the airport for our next day departure, recommended dinner place for traditional Dutch food... What a fantastic hotel. Nice clean room (we were on the top floor in the roof and had some wonderful exposed beams), slightly small bathroom albeit stocked with Molton Brown goodies, and the central location makes it easy to access any of the main attractions in Amsterdam on foot. There is renovation work currently going on, but it's all being... More

Concierge service was lovely, but we got our best advice and service from the bellmen. Out room was lovely and overlooked the canal. Just a note, you must ask for turndown service otherwise it won't be provided. Hotel coffee bar was fabulous. Loved the canal tour, much more intimate than larger cruises.

This luxury hotel is in the perfect location right on a canal. We could walk everywhere from the hotel which is 1 minute from Anne Frank's House. The staff on reception were very kind and helpful. We booked a standard double and got a gorgeous, spacious room up in the eaves which was full of character; tall and light with... More

Second hotel for us during our stay in Amsterdam and found it to be a totally opposite experience from previous hotel also located in the heart of the city. Best thing, given it is a top class hotel with excellent service, was the bed and the huge inner yard with several outdoor bars and seatings. Although a bit of a... More

The hotel has a good location, excellent service, nice restaurant and food.. The rooms may be small but compact with all necessary amenities. This is a good place to recommend when visiting Amsterdam.

We arrived well before check-in time and there were no rooms ready. We explored around a bit, came back and still no room ready. We were exhausted having just got off of an 8 hour flight from the US. We decided to wait on the couch in the lobby. After another 90 minutes, we asked again and it was ready...so... More

The Pulitzer was my husband's and my favorite hotel on our recent trip to the Netherlands and Belgium. The location on the Prinsengracht is perfect--very close to the charming "Nine Shopping Streets" lined with interesting and unusual shops and great restaurants and cafes. Plus, the area is not as frenetic as some of the more touristy locations, while still being... More
