Originally booked the southern room in basement but upon checking in we were told we had a free upgrade to the garden view room which was amazing! Room was spotless and such a high standard, everything you need including fan, iron and board, fridge with free bottle of wine and water, coffee machine, kettle! Room cleaned daily throughout are 3... More

Herengracht is bucolic, quiet and so pleasant and this B*B is great, magnificent room(chamber), squeaky clean and very well equipped, beautiful bathroom (a little bit malodorous washbasin of the bathroom but nothing dramatic);

I stayed here for three nights with my boyfriend two weeks ago and absolutley loved the room! it was so cosy, modern and warm and the bed was amazing. So big and comfortable! We didnt want to leave. Wouldnt change a thing about the room, it was also pitch black when you pulled the curtains so we got a good... More

This is the second time I've been to b&nb herengracht, it has a great location and is a nice apartment. The first time we were there in 2013 we were woken each morning by building work going on before 9am, but we put this down to being a one off and booked to come back in 2014. I didn't think... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in January, it is easy to find and has a good location. The bedroom is very comfortable and nicely decorated. There is a tv, iPod Dock, DVDs for entertainment and a mini bar/tea coffee making facilities. The bathroom is very clean with soft towels. Quite the concept- bed without breakfast. The location of this residence was great- so close to wonderful restaurants and trams that could take us wherever we wanted to go. The only downside is there is no daylight since it's below streetlevel. There was a helpful book with listings of places to see and restaurants to dine, so we didn't necessarily... More

We went for a couple of nights for my partner's birthday and this place was perfect for us, i like the fact it is like a very stylish apartment rather than a hotel room. You can come and go as you please, and it's within walking distance of Dam Square, Rembrandplein, and even Leidseplein is only 20 mins walk away.... More

The place is located on the beautiful canal on the basement floor. Therefore you will have this feeling of "living in underground". It wasn't a problem at all, but you should take it into account if wide sunny windows and the view on the canal - is what you are looking for. Not in this place. At the same time... More

We stayed in Amsterdam as a stopover on our way to Italy and we wanted a central location so we could see as much as possible during our short stay! When we arrived we couldnt believe how fantastic the room was. The bed was huge and really comfy...massive television and cool surround sound speakers. Fancy coffee machine with a selection... More

This is the ultimate way to see Amsterdam! Location is Amazing!!! Just like living the local! The room is large enough for 2, and we would have no hesitation to book here again! Thanks Vondel, you really made our trip to Amsterdam a most memorable and pleasant experience! Darren ;)
