Hello Francois. My wife Heather and I wanted to thank you once again for your hospitality while we stayed at The Posthoorn. We enjoyed our time at your Bed and Breakfast and we enjoyed the breakfasts. We appreciated your offer to move to apartment 2 which was a real treat. The location was ideal and Amsterdam is a wonderfully walkable... More

It was a pleasure to stay at the Posthoorn B& B. Francios was welcoming and knowledgable about the sights and had excellent recommendations for restaurants. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We stayed at The Posthoorn last week and I have to say that it was even better than we anticipated. In reality the room was even better than in the pictures which is not very common. Francois is such a nice host. The location is excellent, 5 minute walk to the Ann Frank's house and 10 minute walk to Central... More

Don't miss this great opportunity to stay in a famous canal house located on the beautiful Prinsengracht. Our host Francois was pleasant and very accommodating....not to mention the amazing breakfast he served in our room every morning. Our time in Amsterdam was quite memorable and we will definitely return to the Posthoorn. Jeff and Ross, Honolulu Hawaii

Our family of four Alaskans with two teenage girls spend two nights at the Posthoorn during our first-ever trip to Europe. Francois offered us the choice of two rooms or one room using a pull out bed. We chose the large room in the back to save money. It was large enough for the four of us and very tastefully... More

We have stayed in many B&B's over the world but this rates among the very finest ever.. Francois, our host, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The location can't be beat. It is five minutes from the Anne Frank House in a charming neighborhood. The house was build in the 1600's and has a very interesting history. We were in... More

I have always been willing to try Bed and Breakfasts in expensive Amsterdam but my husband has resisted, prefering hotels. This May, I won, and we booked into the Posthoorn in the Jordaan section of Amsterdam. My husband is now a solid convert! The room we had (at the back) was large and beautifully decorated. It also had a small... More
