Lovely hotel. There was a mixup with our tripadvisor reservation upon arrival however the friendly, professional staff were exceptionally helpful in sorting the misunderstanding out for us. We were upgraded to a beautiful canal view room. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was huge and comfortable. The hotel was spacious and very clean. On the flipside. The hotel is... More

not really located in the centre, but still a comfortable walk from most interesting sights.. excellent rooms, very comfrotable beds. best of all is to get a room facing the canals, you dont need a tv with that view... have been at better hotels, but for an old european city, this is really not bad, also excellent value for money.... The room was okay. The sheet had holes and the bathroom wasn't as clean as we hoped for. We have stayed at much better 4-star hotels in that price range. If you ever go to Berlin I highly recommend Tierpark hotel. Very nice and we are still (one year later) talking about their breakfast.

I preface this review by stating that I am not a fussy demanding traveler. I desire a clean and reasonably equipped room that I am comfortable in, especially for multi-night stays (five in this case). That said, I found that the Wyndham Apollo fit these requirements well. It was between the RAI convention center and the museum district, so I... More

I was traveling for work and my meetings did not end until 1:30 a.m. When I arrived at my room, it was quite noisy from the bar and I called to complain. Nothing changed but I got ready for bed to try to get some sleep. When I walked over to the bed, it was covered with bugs - there... More

Ok so the rooms have not been decorated for over a decade, and yes its a bit of a hike if your heading into the centre of Amsterdam. If you get a room overlooking the water then you will forget the decore. However, my reason for writing this review is our departing airport taxi experience..... 42 euros for a 20... More

I stayed here for three nights with a friend. We had booked the hotel through the 'Mystery Hotel' deal on Lastminute. The hotel is a five minute walk from the tram stop (trams 5 and 24) that go directly to the central station. Upon arrival at the hotel we were pleased to see that it was in a good area... More

Nice place, very helpful staff, lovely lobby, restaurant and bar. Nice and quiet too. Fridge in room came in very handy as we bought beer, cheese, etc. at Albert Heijn and had lovely little picnics along the canals anywhere we felt like soaking up some sunshine. The breakfast buffet was nice but pay the extra to have it included in... More

I got this at a special rate, so it made for a very good value stay. The position is great on the junction of 5 canals and it is about 5 minutes walk fro the Apolollaan stop on the number 5 and 24 trams from the centraal station. The rooms are a decent size and reasonably well finished. I had... More
