Stayed in the Hotel over Xmas 13' for 3 nights for €100. Hotel is in a remote location, but I knew that when I booked, so sussed out that tram 2 takes you to within a 5 min walk. Local shops near by. Certainly not the best looking hotel you will see, and the Hostel accom opposite looks like something... More

It was quite expensive but maybe that's just Amsterdam. I found NICER and cheaper hotels in CPH and Luxembourg. This hotel was more expensive than both places per night. Amsterdam is expensive even in the hostels. My advice would be to find another hotel/hostel. Don't go for the cheapest option unless you are okay with ROUGHING IT. - which I... More

Myself and my partner were so diss appointed by this hostel. We paid 230 euros for 3 nights which is expensive for the distance to Central Amsterdam. Our room was small and musty and the bathroom was disgusting. It smelt of mold and urine and the toilet was so close to the wall you had to sit sideways to use... More

Stayed in this hotel/hostel in September, we paid 175 euros for 3 nights which is cheaper than a hotel or hostel in centre of Amsterdam. We mainly booked due to it being cheapest option for private bedroom and bathroom. No shower curtain in room, tiny bathroom. Bed comfortable and shower nice pressure. We found it hard to find and had... More

We stayed at the West Side Inn in 2010 when it was named HEM Amsterdam Hotel, and that was a good experience so we decided to try their new extension Toko at 50 euros/night which is really cheap for Amsterdam. Part of the challenge with this hotel is finding it so as we already knew how to find it that... More

I wasn't expecting much given that it was a 'budget' hotel. The room was small, the bed OK and a TV in the room. Fair enough. However the bathroom was revolting. It was poorly (as in not) ventilated and stank of damp. There was evidence of mould in the bathroom and the bedroom consequentially. The shower had a broken rail... More

I've never stayed in a bad hotel like this...nothing was good except the staff. available to correct the issue... but too many issues to stay there. Unfortunately we stayed there during a FULL period for the city, before the Queen Party, so all hotel were completely full. We stayed there just the first night and then we moved to the... More

We were charged 80 euros for a night (Saturday) which was absolutely overpriced. The room was dirty, very dusted in the headboard. The toilet is really old and needs refurbishing. It's quite far away from town, about 20 min by tram (and some extra euros!). Breakfast is served in the hotel next door, which was simple but good (3.75 euros).... More

it was €100 for 3 days. price = great the hostel was a prefab and looked like something from the 1960s but if you can get over that it was very nice and VERY clean. the rooms were a nice size. but the fact that the hotel is right across is a deadly tease. it was hard to get to... More
