the hotel is a good choice if you like to walk; the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is OK (you can choose from different types of hams, salami and cheeses; you could eat also cereals; a minus here the eggs which are only boiled); The distance from main attractions: 5-6 minute from Museums (Rijn, V. Gogh, Stedelijk) and 15-20... More

I was put in a room with the windows open and full of flies. I thought "why are the windows open and why so many flies?" When I closed the window I was answered by a nasty smell. I had to leave the windows open overnight and it was very cold. Breakfast wasn't worth the 10EUR they charged; bread cheese... More

Well situated at one end of the Vondelpark in a very quiet residential street, yet restaurants are just a block away… Very small room - almost uncomfortable ! - but clean and sufficient with bathroom thant would need some refit… That said, the hotel is cosy and a nice place to stay… Minimal but good breakfast… Very well situated !!

We were at Amsterdam for the first time, so didn't actually orient ourselves there, and I gotta say that it was quite hard to find a hotel without having a map. And not a single passing by person knew the street name! At the receiption we were given a wrong key from the room which was already occupied, so it... More

I stayed at the hotel central park in June 2015 with my partner. it was my first time in amsterdam so was very excited. when arriving at amsterdam as you exit look for the signs for bus/coach drop off and across the road is the stop for 197 you can either buy a single fair 5euros or a return fair... My friend and I visited Amsterdam last week for the first time and chose this hotel because it was out of the way of the busy town. 15 minutes away from the airport and only a 2 minute walk away from Voldenpark - which is beautiful. The rooms are quite small but if your in Amsterdam you shouldn't be in... More

Opted for this hotel as we was told it was Central to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, however, it was a 20min tram ride which stopped at midnight so had to get a taxi back. Probably nice for couples as it's in a nice scenic location bit if you want to stay out all night and not spend on... More

I came here in January 2015 for a city mini break with my boyfriend. We are both 20 years old and found the hotel to be clean and friendly. The staff were lovely and even ordered us a pizza after we'd got back late. The only downside is that it is not in the centre of the town but is... More

Lovely hotel with all the basics. We knew the bedrooms were small. But as we spent the whole day outside sightseeing we didn't mind. Basically just slept and after having breakfast, we were out the door again. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood. Well served by public transport and close to the city centre. I would definitely return, maybe... More

Stayed here with my partner for a night in April as part of our visit to Amsterdam. The location is a little out of the way and in a quiet residential area but the transport links are amazing so I actually enjoyed it being away from the hustle and bustle. We were lucky enough to get a room with a... More
