So much nicer than stopping in a hotel. The houseboat has two bedrooms and a communal kitchen & dining area. The breakfast items provided are generous and delicious, and you serve yourself at a time that suits you. Silvia is very friendly and is a couple of boats away if you need anything. Towels, bed linen and wifi are all... More

It was a perfect place to stay for us. Near Central Station. Silvia filled up the fridge every day and she sent someone to repair if anything was broken. The room was very small, but there is a big kitchen which you can be used. Thumbs up for Antonia

There was great wifi, a great view, laundry, and a kitchen! It was definitely a quiet place to stay. I recommend getting a bike to see the entire city! The food was simple and delicious. It consisted of fruit, cheese, bread, juice, milk, coffee, eggs, etc.

I liked this place a lot, and it has a lot going for it. It's well located - being walking distance from Centraal Station. It's a much more interesting place to stay - a traditional houseboth on a canal. It's more like a B&B rather than a hotel. You're sharing with the owner (2 guest rooms plus his on board).... More

Staying in Eastern Docklands (Oostelijk Havengebied)

Neighborhood Profile
Eastern Docklands (Oostelijk Havengebied)
A visit to Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands presents the opportunity to marvel at its many modern architectural masterpieces like the Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam and the beguiling Python Bridge while taking in its scenic waterfront with its trendy assortment of cafés, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Here in this post-industrial (though in some parts still very much presently industrial) neighborhood, you’ll find a smart selection of cool galleries and shops as well as the kid-friendly Science Center NEMO and the National Maritime Museum.
