A few years ago we found the Triple Five via the internet and I looked forward to returning again during my trip to Amsterdam. As before, the room was clean and comfortable with fast Wi-Fi. As important, , the location is one of the best. The Triple Five is ideally located on the Prinsengracht with access to both high quality... More

This is a guest house which just provides the room and no breakfast. Perfectly located opposite one of the many beautiful canals in Prinsengracht. Loads of great eating, shopping and sight seeing places just down the road from the house. 500 meter walk away from the Anne Frank museum. Red light district within walking distance. Very easy to get to... More

We are heading back this month for our 5th stay at the Triple Five Guesthouse. Anies and Ton are not just the owners of a fab B&B, they are our friends. We usually stay in the apartment, but all of the rooms are lovely and the location is superb. What makes staying at the Triple Five so perfect is the... More

We've been to Amsterdam many times (my wife lived there for several years) and have always stayed closer to the train station on Herengracht near Brouwersgracht. While searching through the internet we stumbled across the Triple Five Guesthouse and we are so happy we did! It is ideally located in one of the most charming areas and on one of... More

Staying in Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)

Neighborhood Profile
Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
