Right in the city center, at a walking distance from the central station, the place is perfect either for leisure or while on a business trip. Your host,Camillo, will warmly welcome you and explain you what to visit in Amsterdam, the main points of interest. Access to the room through a small strait stair! Funny! But must take care if... The best B&B ever. Camillo was very helpful and made our stay very easy. He showed us the places to visit and those to avoid and also provide us with many advices. The breakfast was really really nice. I recommend it. The room was very comfortable and the service was perfect adding on that the location...city center.

Excellent place close to train station, 5 minutes to Dam and, in spite of everything, very peaceful to sleep very well. Clean! Good breakfast! Hospitality and courtesy! The best B&B where I stay EVER! YOU HAVE TO GO!

Came for a one-night stay during a business trip and this delightful B&B made Amsterdam quickly feel like home. The room and breakfast were spectacular and the location can't be beat for sightseeing. Camillo & Joost were friendly, gracious, and extremely helpful hosts.

Upon our arrival. Camillo took our bags, swept the cat off the office couch, and sat us down with a map and pen. He pointed out great neighborhoods, museums, how to manage transit, and so much more. The room was adorable and romantic in the best way -- flowers that matched the colors of the bedding, low beams, romantic lighting,... More

We stayed as a family of 4 (children aged 12 and 7) and the cosy, characterful and immaculate rooms suited us perfectly. Camillo is a charming and attentive host and on 1 morning provided a breakfast that was spectacularly presented, tasty and satisfying. On the other 2 mornings we had our included breakfast at a nearby cafe, which had a... More

This place is charming. Just returned from 3 days there. The owner, Camillo, was completely helpful and kind. The room was clean and attended to every day. The location is ideal if you want to be in the city center. Be warned of 2 flights of stairs to get to your room. Breakfast was served each day in our room.... More

Perfect location close to the railway station tho the stairway is steep and spiraled. Very personable and helpful host who provides the most amazing, artistically presented breakfasts. Perhaps the most unique of the B&Bs we stayed in over several weeks. We're very glad we found this B&B and would certainly recommend it.

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
