I stayed there for 2 nights, in a cabin facing the pier (so no harbour view out of my particular porthole). Friendly and easygoing staff. The cabins are very small, as would be expected from a boat; if you're uneasy sleeping in a tight space (bunks), this is not the place for you. Bring flipflops or slippers to wear to... More

This boat is nicely placed in Oosterdok in the center of Amsterdam. Everything of interest is within walking distance. Considering the standard, the price is ok. Breakfast is simple, nothing fancy at all. Showers and toilets are not very high-standard.

Good location-near railway station and tourist information office, easy to find. A big supermarket is near. Great atmosphere, great and friendly staff-very helpful, excellent breakfast! Rooms are very small and overheated during the nights

We stay in the AmicitiA bote-hotel and it's a great experience. Even though the bedroom is so small, as well as the beds, but it is a real sailor experience. We are exactly in the middle of the water and the view is amazing. The breakfast is ok, nothing special. I recommend this hotel for one or two nights, beacause... More

A friend and I stayed here for a couple of days in December - the location is incredible, only a 10 minute walk to central station (where you can get trams that take you everywhere in the city) and about 20 minutes to Dam. The rooms are small and have a tendency to get quite warm at night and the... More

This is a good place to stay for the price as accommodation in Amsterdam can be very expensive. Breakfast was included too which as a nice touch. There was a selection of breads, some meat and cheese on offer The view from breakfast was nice looking onto the water. The rooms are very small but it is fine if you... More

The staff were perfect! nice, kind and helpfull. The rooms (cells) are very very very small.. The view is beautiful. To get there from the center its not 10 minutes as they said, its more like 20 minutes, and when its windy and rainy its much more.. Very Steep steps down. The shower are unpossible to stand there, unless you... More

The boat itself and the people working there were both great. Easy to find cause after landing in the central station the port is a few minutes walk. All boats are named and have signs to lead you there. The boat itself is great, clean, small but cozy and the staff is too friendly they make you feel at home.... More

Tiny little cute rooms, however as a tall and ...larger lady beds are a little bit awkward to get in and out of (but once in perfectly comfy!) Gorgeous view, was so quiet when we stayed though can't comment on how loud it might have been had the room next to ours been occupied. Plenty of showers etc considering its... More

Whilst I cannot speak about the accommodation in Amsterdam, my friends and I stayed on the boat whilst it was moored in Haarlem. We only stayed one night and to be honest I think it's aimed at short breaks as the rooms are very small and you sleep in bunks, but so what; you're on a boat and it's great!... More

Staying in Eastern Docklands (Oostelijk Havengebied)

Neighborhood Profile
Eastern Docklands (Oostelijk Havengebied)
A visit to Amsterdam’s Eastern Docklands presents the opportunity to marvel at its many modern architectural masterpieces like the Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam and the beguiling Python Bridge while taking in its scenic waterfront with its trendy assortment of cafés, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Here in this post-industrial (though in some parts still very much presently industrial) neighborhood, you’ll find a smart selection of cool galleries and shops as well as the kid-friendly Science Center NEMO and the National Maritime Museum.
