My family stayed for 5 nights. We were met by an assistant that was friendly and gave us information on where to go and info on the apartments. If a flat with no bedrooms just one bed in the rear but not a bedroom exactly since there is no door and its just in the side of the room and... More

I booked the Petit Prince May 6-11 since I was meeting some friends in Amsterdam. I also have family in Apeldoorn and wanted a place where they could visit and relax as they have 2 kids. The place was very nice with excellent view perfect location and much better than staying in a hotel. Charles and Alyona were very helpful... More

I can more than happily recommend a stay at the Petit Prince for anyone that wants to combine modern luxurious living with an intimate, personalised stay in Amsterdam that very few hotels could rival. The view from the main balcony provides a truly captivating vista onto the picturesque Prinsengracht canal in central Amsterdam - if possible, it becomes even more... More

We just returned from a week stay at Petit Prince Loft. Summary amazing! Charles the owner took care of all booking arrangements promptly and efficiently. We were met by Menno and Alyona who reviewed all aspects of the unit on arrival. Candles burning, fireplace lit and fresh orchids in every room. Our refrigerator was stocked elegantly with meats, cheese, wine,... More

Just returned from 3 nights at the petit prince apartment and it was amazing. There were 4 of us and we all loved the apartment, location and all the food Menno and Charles organized. This is the second time I've stayed in one of the apartments offered by Charles and I had told my friends to expect it to be... More

We stayed at the Petit Prince for four nights last June. It is hard to describe just how wonderful our stay here was without gushing. Charles and his associate Menno did everything possible to make our visit to Amsterdam memorable. The location is perfect. The view straight out of the picture windows is a bridge crossing the Prinsengracht canal; it... More

Stayed at the Petit Prince Design apartment for 3 nights in cold November as the last leg of our honeymoon. Amazing location, right in the middle of the cool part of Amsterdam. The surrounding areas are filled with small quirky shops & mostly local designers with some well known boutique brands. Felt like a proper Amsterdamian with the typical open... More

We had such a fantastic time at the Petit Prince. This is a much better option than staying in a hotel. You have much more flexibility and a real personal service is provided. An incredibly well stocked fridge, coffees, fresh juices, wines, champagne. The apartment itself is stunning, fantastic location and views. Charles was very helpful providing a detailed itinery... Staying in Jordaan

Neighborhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
