You get what you pay for with accommodation but the staff are lovely. Venue is far enough away from hubbub to allow for decent sleep. Good breakfast. Yes the rooms are small but perfectly formed and to be honest, no one goes to Amsterdam to stay in the hotel room.

Small bathroom and I mean small the sink was hanging over the toilet the room was average but a good place to just drop you bags and go out and come back to a clean bed. We stayed here with a tour group and for what we saw the staff were not very friendly. The breakfast was good too

having just spent three days in Amsterdam with a group of friends, staying on the Botel I can say that it's location is very good especially with the adjacent free ferry over to the south side of the city.... The Botel Is not a luxury hotel by any means... It is in need of some TLC But it was acceptable... More

Hotel is absolutely disgusting. Rooms small, smelly, dirty and as for the shower room it is a whole other story. Bathroom tiny and dirty, beds small and uncomfortable. Rooms were that dirty we didn't even unpack we checked out the same day we checked in. Staff not helpful at all!!!!!! Definitely DO NOT stay in this hotel it is totally... More

We stayed in this Botel for 3 nights whilst in Amsterdam for a long weekend. It is a very quirky hotel and certainly an experience! The boat is securely moored so no worries of sea-sickness! The room we stayed in was of a decent size for 2 people (especially considering it is a boat) and was stocked with everything we... More

Can someone tell the taxi drivers when they move the Botel. We took a taxi from the airport to the Botel. It took a long time as the taxi driver didn't realised it had been moved. €85 euros later he switched the meter off. Upon arrival we were greeted very nicely at the reception to check in. The staff are... More

The botel is great value for money. It's very clean the beds are comfortable and once you understand the ferry and where to get them it's easy, and relaxed. We stayed for a long weekend breakfast was excellent and it was quiet at night time. Perfect location to get away from it all. We will go back again. Amsterdam is... More

Stayed at the Botel , once you work which ferry to catch over to reach it and the times they run its not so bad. Botel is the other side of the water from the back of the main railway station. Cabins are not big , buy ok for your base , being tall myself I had no trouble sleeping... More

The washrooms are really tight, not enough room to move. Showers were very difficult to take since I'd keep bumping into the walls. Cleanliness was that of a 2 star, but you pay for what you get right? The ferry ride into town was pretty easy to figure out, but the last times take away from your nightlife (unless you... More

Where do I start with this place... I don't think it's a 3 star rating for a start just because of the standards and cleanses oh and location! Nice idea but me and my friend turned up at the central station thinking we could just walk and find the hotel however little did we know (thanks to Thomas cook) that... More
