We stayed at The Botel for 3 nights in May. The hotel itself was clean and comfy. The breakfasts were adequate, if a little over priced at €10 each. The bar was nice for a drink before going out or a nightcap on return. The rooms were basic but fine for what we needed. The only problem I had with... More

Although very small rooms are adequate and clean. Great sunsets as well as river watching. Convenient free transportation to central city.

We chose this hotel as we thought it would be quirky staying on the water. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. The rooms were a bit small and basic but as this was cheap to stay in we didn't expect too much to be honest. It's situated in a good position and Amsterdam has lots... More

Had a very enjoyable trip to a city that I fell for immediately. Pretty sure I met the guy who owed the botel and the day he was there the staff were on their toes. land at the airport. Get a train to Amsterdam. Walk out of station and there will be a row of 4 walk-on ferry. Get on... More

I have just returned from my trip to the Botel, in which I spent 4 nights, after arriving on the boat I saw the massive 175 floating hotel, I was excited for this different experience, after entering the boat I was blanked by the receptionist guy, given no welcome but to fill out a card. The room lovely it was... More

I stayed here last week with a couple of friends, we wanted a cheap weekend break in Amsterdam to visit the art gallery's. I booked it with my Easyjet flight and it was very cheap, £300 for 3 including flights from Bristol, so I wasn't expecting much. It's not the place to go for your honeymoon but for me it... More

This was the first stop on our topdeck tour. It doesn't look very impressive when you get there. The room was very tiny and very very basic. The bathroom was so small i would imagine tall or large people would find it impossible to move in there! The beds were really hard but it was clean bedding and the room... More

This was booked as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and he loved it! If you stay in a double room you have a sea (river) view and a Submarine to look at (apparently this made it even better), Im not sure if our room was a 'top spec' room or not and would be interesting to see the others... Just back from a long weekend staying at the Botel. After reading some reviews here I was only hoping for a clean bed! But, on arrival I was very pleasantly suprised with the small but very clean room, nice comfy bed and as it was -7 degrees outside, a nice hot radiator! The staff were always friendly, rooms cleaned daily,... More
