As title says, great convenience to museums and attractions in Amsterdam. This is a modern new facility that is well kept. Stayed in a 10 person dorm room which was slightly cramped but definitely workable.

Located just by the Rijksmuseum in a beautiful art nouveau area. Pedestrianised so quiet. As a hostel there are lots of people coming and going. The dorms are spotless but tightly packed with bunks. The stairs are precipitous in a traditional manner - more like ladders. Breakfast is 5 euros extra but extensive. This was a college trip.

Average all around, nothing special really. A good base though, very short walk from the museum district, around 10 mins from the 'center' but a good 25/30 mins away from the central station. The staff where not very knowledgeable and rude at times.
