During my stay in Amsterdam, there was a number of things that were good about hotel Liberty, such as; The location - just 5 minutes from dam square and central station and also just 5 minutes from the old town. Size of the rooms - big enough to put your things in, although no cupboard space. The breakfast is included... More

Perfect location and a very short walking distance from the central train station. Just as close to all the sights, the restaurants and the bars, but peacefil and quiet to come back to at the end of the day. Comfortable room and friendly hosts. I'd stay here again for sure!

Me and my partner stayed here in 2013. We checked in so late and the lovely owner working there stayed up for us so we was able to check in. This was really appreciated as it was about 11pm, being a very last minute trip, we couldn't find the hotel so I really appreciated her waiting for us when we... More

This hotel is small and peaceful due to the fact it is still an old canal house with only 5 bedrooms. However, it is incredibly charming and authentic. Love the fact that they serve a free breakfast which is actually decent and fills you up until lunchtime, 24/7 free tea and coffee access and free wifi. Staff were very friendly... More

Checked in without reservations and the staff were quite friendly.. Was given a map of the city... We were walking so we wanted to know what was close for food. Young lady told us and we were able to get fresh food rather quickly. Beds and breakfast are very good at this hotel.. Cost I kept low... Will be back!!

This is an amazing hotel that I would recommend highly! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the free breakfast was fresh & made for you, but most importantly, the location is amazing. It is only a few minutes from the main station & sights! The owners & managers are great & informative. For the cheap, it's the best choice. Book... More

It's located really close to the central station but the street is quite calm and is by a canal. The rooms were very clean, The shared toilet was ok, but it could be better (i think that others hotel guests should remember that are other people there). The breakfast was ok. It was the cheapeasr option we found for that... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
