Great place. Lost my virginity here. It was amazing. And not too expensive. The girl was pretty, nice and gentle. The staff was good looking and the bed was soft. I am coming back in 3 weeks for sure when I have Friday off. I really recommend it for every young horny guy out there:)

My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights in September. Organising the accommodation was easy even though we booked very last minute. The accommodation is good for a nest to return to after exploring. It's got a fantastic location, overlooking the canal and busy bars which is great, and is an easy walk into town. The bathroom was great,... More

We couldn't be happier with the choice to stay in the studio apartment here. We expected hostel level accommodations and were pleasantly surprised at the inclusiveness of the apartment. Everything you need, including mustard and butter! Nothing luxury level, nothing missing. It is wonderful opening the window and looking across to the Ould Kerk. A happy surprise: the admittedly narrow... More

Having stayed here for the 2013 Queens day weekend we booked to stay here again in the same room over looking the canal for Kings day! Had a great time and its so handy having a "crib" in such a good location. Will more than likely be staying here again next year! *FREE WIFI :-)

This has a brilliant location and rooms were a decent size. Happy we could smoke in the room. The staff there however where late to let us in. Stayed with us in our room upstairs and had late night people over who broke out front door. They were also late to give us back deposit money after banging on the... More

Stayed here for Queens Day 2013 which is a great time to visit Amsterdam, have booked again for 2014 kings day as its basically like having your own apartment in a great location. I go to Amsterdam every year and think I've found a gem here. Clean and tidy with hob/fridge/sink and a few kitchen bits/TV/DVD/Nice bathroom. Balcony looking over... More

Myself and a group of friends stayed here last month for 4nights and 5days. Having been to Amsterdam before and not remembering an awful lot of it, this time I used this place as a base and explored a lot during the day. By night I went looking for filth and found lots of it. Studio 80 for a tech... More

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighborhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
