I had a decent stay here, most of the issues I had were mostly due to the fact it is a boat which they can't really change, but the whole thing was just kind of a weird experience. The location was OK, it was a bit of a walk from the train station especially with luggage but it was manageable.... More

Firstly, it is a great experience to sleep on a boat in the Amsterdam harbour. Secondly, the owner was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms, as well as the showers, are VERY small, so I definitely won't recommend it if you don't like tight spaces, for more than two nights or if you intend to spend much time in the... Backpacking around the world, I figured, why not, lets stay in a boatel. Best decision ever. Because of changed flights I have stayed in both the upper and lower deck. The lower deck is a bit darker, so personally I preferred the upper deck. But either way you get an authentic boat environment. I loved the feel of my cabin... More

I really enjoyed my time at this hostel. It's literally in the center of Amsterdam! The atmosphere is great and the staff is lovely. The free breakfast is really delicious and just what the tummy needs for a full day of exploring. The rooms are cozy and snug, but need I remind you that you're on a boat, what do... More

You're on a boat, so obviously the rooms are small, but comfortable enough for a decent sleep. Really good breakfast and OK wifi in the dining-room. Staff are really nice, helpful and happy to chat. Unlike what some reviews claim, there's more than one bathroom per floor. Hotels are expensive in Amsterdam, so these boat hotels are the only affordable... More

Don't expect luxury, don't expect the best treatment of hospitality in the world... You get a very small room( bed, chair, sink and a closet, very very small but with an outside window that opens and central heating. Breakfast is included and not too bad either (3 types of bread, different types of cheese, meat and a huge choice of... More

I stayed here two nights. This place is adorable. The rooms are tiny, but that is to be expected because it's a house boat. The host was incredibly accommodating, and breakfast was amazing. It was lovely to have pancakes for breakfast. The place is difficult to find at first, but it's in a great location near to Centraal Station and... More
