Great location in the best part of Amsterdam. A beautiful old building with stylish modern, romantic and cosy interior. Beautiful garden to match which is stunning even in midwinter. Great setting for a hotel which is fantastic in every other way. Very comfortable room - we booked one of their 'Exceptional Rooms' which is well named. Very quiet and looks... More

Very nice hotel but defiantly not with 300.00 British pounds per night They also made a huge mistake with my payment and they held 800 pounds as a holding booking fee then charged my bill also at the end I couldn't access my 800.00 for a week until I got visa recovery to act on this for me The hotel... This is on a quiet canal side street, not far from the center of Amsterdam. It offers a real "neighborhood feel" for a visitor, rather than a hotel location. The manager was very helpful, and let us in to leave our bags even though we arrived early. From here we set out daily and mostly on foot to explore the... More

Amsterdam is excellent especially when you can stop being a tourist. I was not well this trip but the comfort of the room, bed and the peace of watching the canal, made me have a fondness for the hotel that I will never forget. It was our second trip here this year and we had the same room both times.... More

We stayed here between Christmas and New Year. Loved this place. Friendly chatty staff and cool interior. Great bar at the front of the hotel and very good location. DVDs were available on reception. Breakfast was very good.

As advertised! Clean, modern, convenient, and a wonderful host! Perfect for a couple.... Elevator, comfortable bed, coffee machine... Perfection! Located just behind the main square, in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood- just a 5-10 minute walk to everything. Will definitely stay again!!

I loved staying for a few days at this wonderfully located little hotel! I had the delightful impression of being inside a contemporary version of a 17th century dutch master painting. It's all about black and purple with the perfect amount of light. I don't travel that much, but the staff is the friendliest people I have ever met.

We stayed 3 nights at this charming hotel which is located near the Anne Frank House and not too far from other main sights. The hotel is quite near some wonderful restaurants which are also on Tripadvisor. So it was a short walk to go to dinner. The hotel is nicely appointed with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms have been... More

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the Canal House and it confirms why we love Boutique hotels. This was 3 converted Town houses in a quiet backwater but close to the central areas of Amsterdam this wonderful Hotel has just 23 rooms. Staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The rooms decor is very... More

We have been in that apartment this past weekend, and we thought this was kind of Bed and Breakfast, but actually it is private apartment. We liked it a lot. Timea is the person in charge, and she's very kind and at disposal of clients. The room was big, very warm and clean. No noise at all, and the location... More

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
